That's the worst place I've ever stayed

Roaches on bed, etc carpet won’t clean. Paint/walls are terrible, there’s a bad smell. Smells like cigarettes everywhere. Everything smelled bad in there. Just horrible experience don’t recommend. Most I’ll pay there would be $30.

I think the only thing that makes me feel good about our stay at the economy Inn of Greenville was the price.. which in this day and age fit my wallet perfectly but, as I tried to explain to my wife that the name of the hotel reflects the current price of the room.. which is not always a good thing.. “ie” cheaper is not always better… especially when staying in hotels. Needless to say after she found it it online, I passed on my choice of “ America Select Suits” .. which our last stay at was amazing, but that’s another story. It definitely beats sleeping outside or in your car.. safety wise… with clean sheets on the bed, washed without fabric softener..otherwise that it was all downhill from there.. the room was very dusty, food crumbs all over the floor, underneath the couch pillows as well. as you entered the room you were hit with a wall of heat because the AC was not turned on to save energy.. so it took hours into the evening just to cool off as it was an older unit. No stove in the room, just a pocket spring mattress on top of wood with two twin sized steel frames as the bass.. a small dorm refrigerator with a small microwave on top of it. With a bathroom. There was nothing to like at all.. from the old worn out used filthy furniture… holes and cracks in the walls as well as the ceiling.. an old torn apartment style shower curtain with rusted hangers and rod.. a busted towel bar, so there was no place to hang your towel. No cold water.. a broken security lock on the door with a broken chain. But the absolutely worst part about it all was walking into the bathroom, turn the light on to see cockroaches crawling up the walls, the mirror and out of the sink across the counter. It was the absolute worst experience ever.

It was horrible experience.

Terrible stay here, infact the only good thing I can say about it is the air conditioning worked and cooled the room off pretty good. Nothing was properly cleaned, pulled covers back to find crumbs on sheets, some kind of mattress topper on the bottom that looked to be mold or just plan filthy dirt all over it. Ceiling looked to have been having leaks, walls cracked and big chunks missing that had fallen off the wall. Toilet made a weird screeching noise that would wake anybody up out their sleep. They were the cheapest room available and I’m not sure how they are still operating.

The hallways and room smelled like urine, the a/c unit was from the 70's, the towels had dirt on them the sheets were dingy the carpet and walls were dirty. Over all the place is horrible, dont let anyone of your customers book there this was a bad experience and I didnt check in till almost midnight so I had no choice.

Location was good, area had a lot of stores and restaurants near. Walk able to walk 42 seconds to taco Bell. (They share the same parking lot) 1. BUGS!!!BUGS!! BUGS!! and roaches. 2. Bed was hard, very hard 3. No ironing board 4. No hot water (Water did not even get lukewarm) 5. Water pressure sucks to be on first floor. 6. No furniture, not even a desk to use laptop, or eat off. 7. Decor need attention, curtain hanging from rod, just need some hooks to hang proper 8. Not enough linen, request extra pillow ( they had to give me the one behind the counter) 9. Clock on microwave didn't work
-
When I first got here, the smell was bad. The microwave didn’t work and I had to check the mattresses for bedbugs, but the roaches were pretty bad unless you have it cold in here.

Friendly receptionist.

The staff was so extremely helpful with my mom who stayed with me the last 2 days after being discharged from a skilled nursing facility. The shower curtain had mold and mildew.
-
Very bad smell smoking i got no choice because no refund no more for me at this place
-
Had to leave early because of Roach infested room..the difference between smoking and non smoking is palpable in every way. No curtains left exposed to the world. Not ok at all
-
The water is almost immediately hot, and the water pressure in the shower is strong. The microwave is small but powerful. It was quiet at night. The staff was very kind. The shower curtain was covered with mold and mildew. The bed is a bit hard. There isn't enough lighting in the room.
