the most lovely interior, we had the room with free standing bath overlooking the bay, comfy 4 poster bed, you can see that very much love and thought has been poured in every detail of the rooms, they serve a lovely breakfast of your choice every morning to your room, where you can sit and look out at the sea, in total a thoroughly enjoyable experience -can highly recommend! Free parking next to the accommodation on a parking place, fluffy towels, a really good shower with plenty hot water and a really good water stream (not just a drizzle) and I really lovely location in the next to a promenade where you can walk along. honestly, nothing to criticize here!

The room was lovely. It felt very grand and in keeping with the age of the property. The bathroom had a good walk in shower and the towels good quality. The breakfast was great and served in the room, it was lovely to have breakfast next to the open windows, enjoying the view. We would happily stay again. Nothing

Wow where to start, a beautiful old property that’s maintained to the highest standard. Our room was perfect every detail had been catered for, from the furnishings in the room, to the amazing breakfast served to our room, and our hosts Georgia and Alex made everything easy, the parking permit, and information about where to visit, and recommendations on where to eat. The fantastic location and the lovely room (we were in the Estuary Room). We had amazing views over Morecambe Bay, plenty of soft seating for reading and admiring the scenery, a dressing room and a table which we could eat at. We also had a mini bar with wine, Peroni, milk for tea and coffee, sweet treats and Pringles. The breakfast was really lovely, with lots of choice, and lovely fresh and local produce Georgie and Alex (our hosts) were outstanding and their attention to detail second to none. They even made their own honey! Nothing!

Spacious room, very friendly staff. The room service breakfast was amazing while enjoying a wonderful view. It was a last minute find which turned out to be perfect for us.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from beginning to end! Everything exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making us feel at home straight away. A special thank you for being so thoughtful and accommodating regarding my vegan diet. It meant so much that such great care was taken to ensure I had delicious options throughout my stay. The staff were simply outstanding—friendly, welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. Their kindness and professionalism truly made the experience unforgettable. I honestly cannot find a single thing to criticize. Everything was exceptional, and I would recommend this place without hesitation. Thank you for such a wonderful stay—we would love to come back!

This wasn't our first stay at Bay Villa and was every bit as good as previous stays. The room (The Estuary) was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a huge comfortable bed. Love the separate dressing room and walk-in shower, and also the complimentary drinks and snacks. The breakfast choice was excellent. Georgie, Alex and Simon are doing a great job, and I have no doubt we'll be back on our next trip north. All good.

We loved everything about our stay here, lovely warm welcome from Georgie on arrival, the view from our room was beautiful. The room has everything you need, lots of thoughtful finishing touches that really make a difference. The breakfast! WOW, this has to be the best breakfast I've had. Fabulous home cooked breakfast that would set you up for the week ahead never mind the day! The poached eggs were beautifully cooked, we thoroughly enjoyed the treat of having this served to our room. Nothing to dislike, would highly recommend.

The Old Library was excellent accommodation. Everything spotless, everything of high quality, bedding, bath towels, toiletries, absolutely superb. The balcony with the Egg swinging chair was a lovely touch, to sit and enjoy the weather view and birds. The personal service and the variety offered for breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. I cannot praise this accommodation enough, and will hopefully return. Nothing, everything was fantastic with lots of little special touches, even complimentary drinks and snacks.
