The room was very nice and clean. We had a king studio suite. We were late getting down to breakfast so I can’t comment on how good it was, However, it did appear that they had a hot breakfast. The biggest downfall was they had an excellent fitness room, but it was 86 degrees in there because the air wasn’t working. I asked about it and the front desk said there was nothing they could do about it. So that was a pretty uncomfortable workout!

The room was clean for the most part visibly (I hope), but when I first walked in, I discovered a liquid substance across the nightstand next to the bed, eyelashes on the nightstand and floor beneath it, and a charging cord that was not mine. It appeared this area was missed entirely and honestly made me question what else in the room may have been missed. The next day, I took a clean towel off of the rack and discovered some pretty concerning discoloration/staining on the towel. Absolutely disgusting and definitely did not help after what I had already found the night before. My friend that was with me did have the breakfast and mentioned that it was great, so I wanted to at least share a positive. Overall, the place wasn’t terrible, and the management was good. These two concerns were just really off-putting. Not a terrible experience, but I will not be staying again.

We waited almost 10mins at an unattended check-in desk at 8pm when we arrived. We pressed the call bell 3 times and heard it go off but there was no response. A little while later a young lady walked around the corner to check us in. The entire check-in process she didn’t say a word other than aggressively telling me to sign the agreement. We had greeted her with a hello, waited patiently for any questions she may have had for us (none) and then only asked one question ourselves. She aggressively told me to sign the agreement while I was awaiting her response to my question about the room. When I repeated the question, she still didn’t answer it but just started tapping on her computer. I continued to wait and another minute later was forced to re-ask the question and demanded her response before I signed the agreement. Her attitude from start to finish was abhorrent. Overall the room was fine, but had small stains on the sheets, fraying linen, and the toilet had not been cleaned throughly. Breakfast was basic (as advertised), and they had run out of syrup and orange juice. Overall, the check in experience did not inspire a welcoming, safe and hospitable environment most hotels strive for, and left my travelling partner and I glad we had each other for safety.

Nice quiet place with very large rooms ten minutes from downtown Grand Rapids.
-
This is very basic stay. It has a good price.

The stay was good. The room was a little dirty under the couch when we moved it to use for the pullout couch.
-
The room was spacious, but there was trash left under the bed from previous tenants. There were minor repairs that needed fixing, like the toilet seat and the sink stopper. Overall it was acceptable and the location was great for what I needed.

Beds are uncomfortable, hair in the bathtub

The rooms were dirty, the staff was rude, and the hotel smelled like marijuana. The manager on duty argued with me and told me that I was lying about the condition of my room. And there was nothing she could do for me. Needless to say I checked out 45 minutes after I checked in, and was told that I would not be receiving any sort of refund for my absolutely horrible room. I give 0 stars. Avoid this hotel.

Breakfast was not very good. The reviews said it was, but the options were very limited. Items ran out by 7:30am and the hot items left were cold. The trash was overflowing. We enjoyed the pool, but someone came in and yelled at us during the daytime about the light being off. We didn't even turn it off. The room was full of natural light, so we thought nothing of it. The hotel appeared clean aside from our room. I wish the TVs were smart TVs because we forgot our fire stick.

The hotel def could be cleaner. Pool was clean and good size for the hotel. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast, waffle machine, yogurt, juice cereal and eggs

My toilet got cloth twice and I had to use the plunger the second time because no one was available. The toilet made noise all night long

No soap at this property. When we asked the front desk for some sort of soap to wash hands we got a rude no. In the morning, I asked why there wasn't any soap and a nicer lady said it was on backorder and we should of got a sanitizer kit. Nothing was provided. if I were this place you could at least go to Costco and find some soap for guests! b

Clean room and good location near the freeway The neighboring apartments located next door are extremely noisy, car stereos blasting music around 3a-4a as well as the trash removal for that property went on for an extended period of time
