Motel 6 Grand Prairie, TX - Near Six Flags Drive

No issues, been going to this location for years now

Location and distance to AT&T Stadium Would not recommend booking thought Booking.com or 3rd party. Had unfortunate experience with reception staff, who I misunderstood. Thought was taking my card for the usual incidentals deposit but instead charged me for 2 nights. He did not explain that my reservation through Booking.com was not appearing on their system. Contacted Booking.com who did confirm my reservation and payment. So I got charged twice. Management did refund me the following morning but the funds were already taken by then. I was not the only customer experiencing this issue. When I finally got things sorted out, found a dead cricket in the bathroom. No less than 2 hours later, found a live one in the room.

Several stains on bed sheets, bed covers, and pillowcases. Mini fridge freezer was dirty, and trash can still had trash in it from previous stay. Shower had a small dead roach, alongside dirty shower curtain. Staff was fine, parking was fine besides the big ass speed bump they have lol.

I didn't like anything the room was so bad we didn't stay there on line it said all room non smoking the smoke was so bad I couldn't breathe and they had live and dead bugs everywhere in that room the only thing I did like was he was nice enough to refund me it was not for me but mave someone else

It was close to the globe life and the at&t stadium. For concerts and events it’s nice to be near by. That’s all that’s really nice about it. There was roaches the moment we got there. When we checked in at 3pm we checked the bathroom and bed first thing to make sure. We always do, sure enough there was roaches in the bathroom. Small, juvenile ones.. means there’s more of a nest somewhere. I was very uncomfortable. We told if we can have another room. We could have gotten one I’m sure of it BUT It was all booked bc of the concert that was going on that weekend. It was BTS. I was seeing BTS as well.. So yeah we kind of had to deal with it.. But we slept very unsure for 2 nights and with the lights on didn’t want one crawling on us. Plus they don’t like light so, another thing is they seem to have only been in the bathroom. None in the bedroom, regardless still. We had to put away our belongings everytime we left or when we slept just to be safe. Was very uncool, so unnecessary and uncomfortable that was our backup plan I guess, Ugh it was the worst feeling ever. It sucks tbh, but I’m sure everyone else was dealing w the same problems.

Staff was very friendly and helpful The room itself at first glance was okay, but we found that the fridge had not been emptied, there were cobwebs on the light fixtures, and the shower curtain needed to be changed due to mold forming on the bottom.

Basic, clean room. Close to stadium area. Had a fridge. Coffee in lobby
