Yalo Urban Boutique Hotel Ghent

The area rug was filthy, I asked staff Thursday morning if they could remove the rug because of allergies. When we got back Saturday after spending a night in Amsterdam the rug was not moved and only vacuumed.

Very nice modern hotel. The shower enclosure. I am not a fan of the half glass partition. Constantly having to dry the floor after showering.

Clean, great location, great restaurant and bar, helpful staff, great A/C, well appointed rooms

Very trendy and cute hotel with a fantastic rooftop. The place was very clean and the hotel staff were very kind. Also the location was perfect! Very close to everything but was perfectly quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Komfortables Bett, Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine, Tischchen und Sitzgelegenheiten, genügend Ablageflächen. Tramhaltestelle praktisch vor dem Hotel, man kann vom Bahnhof Gent Sin Pieters direkt zum Hotel erfahren. Fenster sehr gut isoliert, man hat die laute Strasse überhaupt nicht gehört, wenn die Fenster zu waren. In der Dusche ist das Wasser sehr schlecht abgeflossen, vor allem, wenn zwei nacheinander geduscht haben drohte das ganze Badezimmer zu überschwemmen.

Restaurant was tasty but expensive and...avant garde.

The room was clean and large and had a balcony which was great. The location was great. Right in the tram so easy to get to where we needed to go and within walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants and tourist attractions. We were under the rooftop patio so it was a bit noisy

Decor , Very poor management , no leadership skills staff has not been trained properly for this status of restaurant that is considered a boutique hotel For example guys is not a word to address your clients .. Roof top restaurant needs to be run from a professional..

This hotel met all of our needs exceptionally well. We were two women traveling together for fun. The room was comfortable, it had good air conditioning! The breakfast was great. We stayed for about a week, and never ran out of good options for breakfast. Love that we could get robes and slippers. We enjoyed the roof top bar and the lobby bar both. Staff were kind and helpful. The location was excellent - right off the tram line. It was centrally located, but not so much so that it was noisy. Easily walkable to the more touristy areas of town. Super easy to get to the train station via tram. I really have no complaints. They were having issues with one of the elevators while we were there, but even that didn't cause any problems. We didn't have to wait long for an elevator ever.

Everything! Gorgeous areas to relax - a very lounge like feeling that made you just want to stay! The rooms were wonderful with everything you could need! The breakfast was exceptional and the food for dinner was amazing! Parking was right under the hotel.

Great location, shops, attractions, local transport all in the vicinity. Stylish hotel / rooms / breakfast-lunch-bar area, compliments to the desingner(s). Very nice and attentive staff. Tasty breakfast buffet w/lots of choices, cooked food etc. Absolutely nothing

Great rooftop bar. Fantastic Location. Good Parking Onsite Rooftop bar staff were inconsistent. Some were excellent, others not.

Quiet, good location Breakfast was pricey

This room was stunning, with a massive terrace it was a beautiful space to relax after days full of exploring. Perfectly located within a 5 minute walk to the central square, close by to shopping streets and main tram line. The staff providing the best restaurant recommendations and made us feel most welcome in the city. Truly a beautiful hotel well worth the value for exploring the city of Ghent. Nothing this hotel was amazing!

Location and bar restaurant At check in the guy helping was super nice. Unfortunately our room was not ready at check in time but gave us a drink at the bar. We were also disappointed with paying for a terrace. Our room was right under the rooftop bar and could hear the club music past midnight. So we paid extra for a nicer room but then had music blasting all the time. Also asked for extra pillow at the front desk one night and never ended up getting.

We had a great time at this hotel! Staff went above and beyond when we had questions, whether health related or for recommendations. Location was fabulous- whenever we mentioned our hotel (when asked what hotel we had), people always said "oh great choice". Extremely comfortable beds, and space. Loved the rooftop bar- and wish we had tried the breakfast!
