Baymont by Wyndham Gatlinburg On The River

The private balcony was great. Beds were soft and comfy. We stay every year. There is no early check in & that’s disappointing. With a long drive , We usually arrive around 2pm but won’t they let anyone check in until After 230.

We have always enjoyed our stay at Baymont in Gatlinburg, TN! The rooms are spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. The river view from the balcony is beautiful and peaceful. We spend a lot of time sitting out there and enjoying the river. The staff is very kind, helpful, and accommodating. It is a very affordable, nice place to stay.

Good location, but noise at night

This is our favorite place to stay in Gatlinburg because of the location right on the river. We love to sit on the balcony and watch the river and the wildlife. If you’re lucky you might see a bear roaming around. This hotel is not fancy but it’s clean and comfortable. It’s on Parkway so there is noise from traffic but honestly it doesn’t bother us at all and we sleep well. The breakfast is very good with bacon,sausage,eggs,waffles and much more. I love this place.

Super clean and top notch views!

Room was clean, staff friendly, good view of river. The second bed was very uncomfortable and noisy, creaked and cracked every time someone moved. Parking was very limited.

We always stay here when we come to gatlinburg. The place is always peaceful with the river at the back door, its walking distance to the strip, and the rooms have always been clean and the staff has been nice. The breakfast is always hot and ready.

If you’re a light sleeper you will have an issue as the hotel is on the main road with the river behind, the car noise csn be loud if they’re revving their engines. Beds could use updating however the room overall was nice for the price, the river balcony was so lovely. Would definitely stay again.

On checking we weren’t told about lower level parking so waited for open stop up top. The elevator would take you down when you wanted to go up. A pregnant lady had to ride 1st-4th then back down to get to basement/parking level and was extremely hot no air flowing. Breakfast was all microwaved food or cereal. Juice cups we like shot glasses. The room was clean but bed was broken, horrid mattress and pillows the size of small throw pillows. Worst out all the hotels I have been to for road noise and neighboring room noise we could hear their notifications on their phones go off all night long, tv on and talking to each other. On a positive note the view was great and balcony.

Good clean hotel. It is at the far edge of all the attractions but really close to a trolley stop. I was a little bit worried about the parking looking at all the cars parked wherever on a busy night but I didn’t seem to have any problems.

Property was absolutely beautiful. View from back balcony was to die for. Peaceful and quiet. Beds and room were exceptional. Would absolutely stay here again. Recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good and love the balcony with the water view . We even saw 3 bears from the balcony throughout our stay

The balcony overlooking the river was so relaxing! The hotel is close to the main street in Gaitlinburg and it is also near a trolley stop with made it easy to travel around the area without having to use our auto. The rooms were clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is great!! Loved the balcony overlooking the river and enjoying the morning coffee there. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are updated, breakfast is good- waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruits, assorted breads and muffins, tea, coffee, milk, yogurt. Parking is plenty. Pool is clean. All in all an amazing property.

The location was mediocre at best, right off the main road so very loud. Gave me the motel vibes. The room itself was very nice, I was pleasantly shocked

Staff were very unhelpful it was pouring down rain and I am 71 years old I was trying to unload my luggage as fast as I could all they could say was you can’t park here move your car the only place they would show me to park was out in the rain I refused so they yelled at my granddaughter to tell me to move there is absolutely no security the only elevator is a service elevator that guests have to use with no security at all anyone can walk in off the street and gain access to the rooms

Great location very clean

Will definitely stay here again.
