La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Galveston North at I-45

You call that a pool? Don’t be deceived by that promise. The staff was friendly and efficient which is a plus. Otherwise nothing special about the stay which is too bad since it was fairly expensive.

Needless to say, if the hotel had been in this condition on our first stay we would not have stayed again.

Great place to stay and great breakfast

Parking is HORRIBLE people took up 2 spaces and we had to pay for parking. So we ended up having to park far away but still paid even though people took up more than one spot.

Extremely spacious. The king suite is big enough for a family of 4

The room was clean. Breakfast was good. We would stay again on our next cruise.

Close to everything Staff was friendly

My room was excellent the air conditioner did not work very good so everything else was great.

Clean quiet nice location

Check in was easy & room was very clean. I don't mind the policy of no room service for 3 days (unless requested) but the trash cans are too small & too few for that. We did ask housekeeping for fresh washcloths after a couple of days. Also toiletries provided wouldn't be enough for 3 days for 4 adults. Breakfast was okay but they were constantly out of 1 thing or another - no coffee, then no batter for waffles, no eggs, no sausage, no muffins, no juice, no yogurts. Coffee was also cold several times. They had sweetened creamer but if you wanted unsweetened you had to go to the cereal section & get milk. If you waited long enough you could get everything you wanted. The cold coffee was the biggest disappointment. Even the eggs were a little cold one morning. Trash cans were super full during breakfast too.

I enjoyed my stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Galveston North at I-45. Larry, the front desk clerk was very welcoming, personable, and professional. He made my grandsons and I feel valued and safe. The environment was well maintained, updated and inviting. The room was clean and spacious, with fresh linen, towels, a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I really appreciated the underground covered parking. The pool was clean and well maintained. The breakfast offered a variety options from texas shaped made to order waffles to cereal, fruit, eggs, toasts oatmeal and drink choices like coffee, tea, juices and milk. A special thank you to the female staff member who maintained the breakfast area. Overall, I am pleased with my stay. I will definitely recommend this location (right off the freeway and minutes away from the beach) to anyone who wants a quality, affordable stay at a hotel in Galveston, Texas.

The person working the front desk, Larry was very friendly and helpful. But the room was very musty smelling and the beds had mildew on them. The lady helping with the breakfast was not friendly at all! I would not stay here again.

No complaints. Everything was great.

Trying to find the lobby and then how to get to the rooms was a little odd. Staff were friendly, room was clean enough, but the rooms definitely need some updating.

The hotel was not that clean and did not live up to their standards. It was over priced, they ran out of washcloths and towels, breakfast was underwhelming, and overall poor stay.

Pues tristemente no tengo muchas cosas buenas que decir el hotel estuvo normal pero no tenía aire acondicionado quién sabe desde cuándo se había descompuesto y nadie lo sabía eso quiere decir que no revisa los cuartos antes de rentarlos además no tenía el control de la televisión así que hasta que nos facilitaron uno

Terrible experience
