The location was right on the square in the beautiful town of Agáldar. There’s plenty of restaurants and cafés around, and parking is available for €1/5 hours (free overnight) in nearby 3 options of parking lots. A mini fridge and safe were provided in the comfortable room. Breakfast was available for an extra price. The bathroom door is frosted glass and regular glass, and allows light into the room (a problem if you need the bathroom while your partner is sleeping.)

Great location, beautiful room, comfortable bed, incredible hotel restaurant. Parking 5 mins walk The pool is of no use, too small and the weather was not good enough to use it anyway. It’s quite noisy until late at night on a Saturday and from early morning, but they give you earplugs.

The beauty of the location, the hotel and surrounding buildings were superb. Inside the hotel there was a spacious upstairs lounge for quiet reading or conversation. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were both pleasantly decorated, with appropriate space for luggage, clothes, washbags etc. There were fantastic french-windows, with a small balcony overlooking the plaza and effective wooden shutters that blocked out any light for sleeping. We did not chose to eat breakfast, preferring to indulge in the many delicious nearly bakeries, but we dined twice in the hotel restaurant, where the food and wine were of excellent quality. We also enjoyed the hotel roof bar and sun loungers, which were surprisingly well protected from the wind. The hotel was in easy walking distance from several interesting museums, cafés, shops and restaurants, where one could mingle with the friendly and helpful locals (despite our lack of Spanish!). There were also nearby bus stops from which one could travel very cheaply to several places around Gran Canaria, including beach locations. The rooftop swimming pool is very small - more a plunge pool. This didn't matter to us but could be made clearer in the pre-booking information. The shower was not very hot on some mornings.

Elegant Hot water stopped working, but sure will be remedied by next visit

Great location, which is in the old town and off the central square. Restaurants and cafes within 10 min walk. Lovely roof top bar with very reasonably priced drinks (compered to UK standards)! Memory foam pillows made the beds comfortable. Rooms are well maintained and clean throughout. Unfortunately our hot water was not working during our stay and could not be fixed, however the hotel were understanding and were able to handle the situation well. Having a receptionist at the desk during working hours would have been most helpful, however the hotel were responsive on whatsapp. The pool is more compact in size than it appears on photos.

This is our 2nd visit. Our first was just over 2 years ago. It’s a nice small hotel - far away from the mass tourism in the south. Nice Spanish town with good restaurants. The breakfast lady was lovely - very efficient. The glass bathroom door has been tinted to give some privacy (this was not there 2 years ago), but as the bottom & top has still been left transparent when someone uses the toilet at night we all get woken up by the lights. Food choices at breakfast are less than before when the had a small buffet table aswell, so you can’t make toast (the toast the provide on the tray is now cold). One fruit option. They used to provide croissants before but not now.

The hotel was situated next to a church and in front of a square in a pedestrian area with several bars/restaurants around. A beautiful old restored building with classic decor. Breakfast was fabulous. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and complementary bottle of water. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The entrance had a high step which was difficult for my elderly mum but she didn't mind it as she loved the hotel.

The room we stayed in was fantastic, with brilliant facilities. The restaurant was great, with super food and friendly and helpful staff. The location of the hotel was perfect to visit Galdar's attractions. The maid service in the room was a little haphazard. The cups we used weren't washed up, and the tea and coffee resources weren't always replaced.

The hotel was in an excellent location with all the amenities of the town within easy walking distance. All the staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful in spite of the language difficulties. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped with an excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Parking was initially very difficult. This was probably caused by one of the car parks being temporarily closed. The car parks were difficult to locate in the very small streets. It was a pity that the hotel did not supply a town map showing the location of the car parks and the one way system. Perhaps the hotel could reserve some spaces to be paid for by guests?

Location great. Nicely decorated room - well looked after. Nice roof top bar. Breakfast OK, but a bit basic. Breakfast area not very welcoming in terms of decoration and fit out.
