SJ Tour - San Juan Foz do Iguaçu

The breakfast had a lot of yummy options including many juices and breads, even warm foods like fried eggs and sausage. The location was walkable to restaurants we liked. Beds were comfortable for us. Cozy blankets were provided. The staff were very helpful and polite. When we had a malfunction in the room, they were very responsive. We appreciate that so much. The hotel is a bit run-down in general. We were traveling in a group (three separate rooms) and everyone had an issue in their room, either leaky ceiling, malfunctioning mini-split, or leakage underneath sink & fridge. There is evidence of the beginnings of mold in the bathrooms as they lack adequate ventilation. There were stains and grime on bathroom walls and light switches since our arrival. I was able to clean the light switches with the wet wipes I had on hand. But it made me wonder how long they had been like that.

There is no sound proofing to the door and can hear everyone from the hallway like they're in the room with you. The hotel is a bit old but I was ok with it since the rates were quite low and the value for money was great.

Everything else but staff were rude. We stayed at this property before and the staff were exceptionally goodand attentive. Not this time though.

Customer service is excellent, it’s very nice to have the traditional hotel experience in such a great location and for an exceptional price. Definitely recommend.

Reception and restaurant staff are all very friendly. Excellent facilities, ability to charge to the room. I was particulairly happy to see a tour desk as well inside the hotel. This made it very easy to cross the border Also, it was great that I could purchase an international adaptor for my phone; saved me a trip searching around town with an empty battery. The hotel is a bit old, which showed in the stuffy aircon and old-style rooms. Cleaningness could be better as well as the shower was full of mould. Also, there was only shampoo+airconditioner; no body soap or hand soap.

Exceptional

The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was excellent! Most importantly the staff was exceptional, kind, helpful with all kind of information, they kept our luggage safe after check out while we were visiting and let us also shower before leaving in the pool facilities!

This is a good 3-star hotel with pool. Breakfast was also ok. We stayed here because of early flight to Rio and night show in foz.
