I would say location & cleaning. I would say the bathroom cabin, it’s very small & uncomfortable.

The location is excellent and fresh towels everyday was great. The breakfast was lovely. There was a lot of steps everywhere which can make it difficult for an older person.

Beautiful entrance to the hotel, lady who checked us in was very helpful and professional. Location is amazing - a few minutes walk and you’re right in the heart of Florence! Such a beautiful city. Our beds were comfortable and we had lots of space. Breakfast was very nice. The rude male member of staff at breakfast. We mistakenly picked up a small folded table runner thinking it was a napkin, realised and went to put it back under the breakfast bar. The man came over, snatched it off us, shouted at us in his native language and then continued to give us nasty looks. He also didn’t do much to help at breakfast and left the cleaning up and restocking all to the lady who was on shift with him. We saw him being unhelpful to other people too, when they came in and there were no seats left for breakfast - he didn’t offer them an alternative. It tainted our stay at the hotel.

Location was great, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was really good There was a small lizard in the room when we first arrived however the hotel immediately switched our room which was very nice. The stairs and finding the room was also a bit difficult at first.

Couldn’t have been a better location. Very central to attractions, quaint streets, shops and food options, and the train station. Love that water was provided and the breakfast was great! Also loved that rooms options were available which fit our family of 6 in a single room. Perfect for our 2-night stay. Nothing!

We stayed here as a family of five and had a great experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Florence and within easy walking distance of the city’s main attractions. Finding the entrance felt a bit like a treasure hunt, but once inside we discovered a real hidden gem. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was spacious with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property offers excellent value for money, especially considering its central location. We parked at International Garage nearby, which also took care of registering our rental car for the ZTL, making arrival by car much easier. Overall, a great choice for families looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Florence.

Gorgeous room with frescoes. Great location and attentive staff. Stairs are difficult for me but they took care of my mobility scooter and kept it safe in the courtyard!

The gentleman who checked us in was outstanding, very helpful and professional. The breakfast was rather tasty. This location is terrible unless your mode of transport has ony 2 wheels. I literally had to drive around for more than an hour to locate the hotel. Google maps kept taking me to dead-end roads repeatedly. The street the hotel is o, has a ridiculous numbering system and the numbers are out of sequence so Google really is useless for navigating older areas of Florence. To top off the madness there was neither cold or hot water in the morning to shower et.The cause of the water outage was never explained. I recommend never staying in an old-town area in any Italian city or village. Stay outside the city center, possibly near a train station to avoid the chaos of driving your car to those restricted locations.
