Half of my stay without of power in the middle of the summer heat wave even it’s because of city power grid failure. And flies in the breakfast room, it’s very annoying

The hotel is very conveniently located regarding public transport, and staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very good luggage storage service. Luggage is stored in a locked room away from reception area. It has a large comfortable seating area near the lobby, with a free sparking water dispenser. The room had a large TV. Negatives are that the room has a small shower with a slippery plastic base (which could be improved with an anti-slip mat), and it has a potentially insecure public wifi system which requires providing email and other personal information to use it. Finally, beware of the dodgy minimarket next door which tried to charge us 15 euro for a small 1.5 euro packet of chips. We believe that this was deliberate, not an error. When I challenged the price, the checkout person instantly refunded me the difference without apology. Some Google reviews also mention experiencing this issue with this minimarket.

Beautiful property, very clean, friendly staff, location was really great and easy to walk to everything we wanted to see and do and so many great food spots close by. Loved the late night bar area also. Loved everything about it!

The location close to the train station made this hotel a convenient base to explore Florence. The staff was exceptional - welcoming, always available, and quick to respond to questions and requests. The room was large, clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable.
