Good breakfast and close to everything Our room was very small

Wonderful bed & breakfast. I had been to Noronha 4 times and Solar das Andorinhas was one of the best. It has a perfect location to walk everywhere (Praia do Cachorro, Meio e Conceição, Forte dos Remédios, several great restaurants, etc.) or to get a taxi (their base is right in front of Solar das Andorinhas, so you don't need to call and wait). The bus stop is also few steps away. The staff was very nice and was always ready to help with suggestions or any extra requests. All the rooms have verandas with hammocks. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning and the TV worked very well. We had a wonderful time! My only complaint is not exclusive to Solar das Andorinhas. All the pousadas in Noronha offer a "free" transfer from the airport, but the transfer is done by a company that will try to sell overpriced tours and activities. We lost a day in Recife because the airplane couldn't land and it was not fun to waste one more hour on that bus hearing about tours that we were not interested in - and that lady was so LOUD! It feels like when you go to Orlando and get a "free" ticket to Disneyworld but waste two hours listening to someone trying to sell you a timeshare. What a mistake! If I knew it was a trap, I would happily pay for the cab (about $6). Time has a huge value, especially when you are in a place so amazing. It made me avoid that company (Atalaia) during our nine-day stay. Again: this is not exclusive to Solar das Andorinhas. The bus had people from several different pousadas.
