I’m still giving an excellent review, but I wish I was told beforehand that it was one toilet to be shared with the whole Hostel. There are two toilets, but there was a family with a young child that had a private bathroom for them. I also wish they had told me I would be staying above an infant. They asked me to make sure I was quiet, which I was happy to respect, but I heard the baby crying all day and night. It did not ruin my stay and the family is wonderful, but it is something I wish I knew beforehand because I work remotely. The facilities were also very clean, but they need to empty the trash in the bath more often and scrub the shower more often. When that many people are using one facility being cleaned once a day is not enough. The Wi-Fi is also pretty bad. It was the bare minimum I could have and still be able to work remotely. I understand it as an island, but I did not have the same issues when I worked remotely from restaurants on the island. The Wi-Fi was also very slow that you could not stream anything, again this isn’t a big problem, but I just wasn’t able to watch TV/Netflix before bed. They also do not provide water. I feel like it looks like I am complaining a lot. I’m still giving this a nine out of 10 review but these were just things I wish I knew before I stayed there.

Felt like home, the host was really nice and welcoming ❤️ met people to be with for my stay in noronha! The host didn’t know any English and really liked to talk….

Dona Ju is such a lovely person! She is like a mom to her guests. The hostel is great! You feel like home as soon as you get in. Very well located, sparkling clean (as I've never seen in any other hostel), and wonderfully well organised. I wish I could stay longer... Obrigada, dona Ju!!! Honestly nothing.

Nice place that offers good prices if compared with anywhere else on the island. Bed linen clean. The bunks in the shared room have curtains that give more privacy. There is an individual electrical outlet too. Air conditioner available from 6 pm to 6 am.
