When we arrived at the hotel there was. No one in the front desk to check in we had to wait we got our room but as soon as we walk in I was able to smell in the room like a wet towel that was left in the washer for days we had a great view from the room my kids and I wanted to use the pool and it was close the dinning experience was great on the food but little over price overall we had to leave to a different hotel the next day the smell in the room was uncomfortable

I never like to be negative…but this property used to be one of the premier properties in the region. Sadly it’s really showing its age… not only in the public spaces but the rooms have definitely seen better days. The grounds are well maintained but the whole place seems to say it peaked 20 years ago. It’s time to shut it down, gut it, refresh, remodel and let her shine again…. It’s going to be a huge expense no doubt ….

Clean room, great property, absolutely beautiful gardens. Would definitely stay again. Lots of parking.

The resort was lovely on all levels and we hope to return

Needs upgrading, especially the elevator!!

The first floor had not been mopped in days (weeks?). The person at the front desk addressed that. Multiple lights on the room did not work. The desk was n the wrong wall and teh desk lamp had no plug there. The downstairs was dusty. The gym was not clean at all. Every gym has paper towels and cleaning spray, b ut not this one. This is a nice property with potential, but they need to put much more attention into cleaning and maintenance. The restaurant was great = huge portions and very very tasty.

I lost power at my house so I decided to go to woodcliff. Nice hotel water was black when I tried to shower. Staff assured me would go away in a couple hours we ran it still very dark water. 1130pm I checked out no need for the room if I can't shower. I expressed my problem with staff. I've been passed along saying a manager will contact me. I've tried thru phone and email it's been 6 weeks today someone told me I have to contact expedia so here I am. Can I have my payment back?

Rooms a little musty but comfortable. Restaurant food was excellent. Room service was quick and delicious too. The Grab n Go was meh. I passed on that. Spa was only ok. Nothing spectacular about the services. My hot stone message should have been much better, it was more like a touch of stone. The facial was nice except that she wore latex gloves and that diminished my enjoyment of the facial. It felt weird, it smelled weird and it sounded weird. The spa itself was gorgeous, with breathtaking views. Not a great selection of teas and some of the guests were on their phones in the relaxation area which I find stressful when I'm trying to relax. So no real deal breakers here, I would stay again. But pass on the spa.

Outdoor pool wasn’t in service

The property is good at a good location. I’ve stayed in there plenty times unfortunately it was the worst time I ever stayed at this place with no notice ahead of time that the swimming pool was gonna be close. Notifications was terrible

Property is poorly maintained. Room is very tired. Worst of all there were areas that weren’t clean, e.g. the bathroom floor, the shower door track, crumbs in the fridge, the bottom of the ONE wast basket. There one uncomfortable office chair in the double queen bed room and no place else to sit.
-
Not enough focus on cleaning details. Ants in room. Window screen not washed.
-
The bar area js very nice. View is beautiful. Our room had not been cleaned. Dirty mirrors, used towels, trash, unflushed toilet. The 2nd room did not have the AC on. Warm, musty, humid. Know they are doing renovations. Our room was nice, but our adult children's room was outdated and smelled. Employees seemed like they did not care.

I’ve stayed here 3 times when coming to the area for concerts. The property grounds are exceptional and you must walk around at least once to enjoy the gardens and scenery. The hiking trail makes for a good start to the morning. I’ve never used the pool or spa but they look wonderful. The rooms are perfectly clean and updated. I love and prefer this hotel!!
