Hampton Inn Akron-Fairlawn

Everything was a little sparse in the room as far as amenities. Like towels we had to go down and get more towels and the towels were very cheap. No cups or napkins in their room. Other than that everything was great

Wonderful stay

Staff were friendly. Facility was clean. Beds were so comfortable.

Enjoyed my stay - Each staff member I encountered were friendly. Breakfast was good with something for everyone.

Perfect location that was surrounded by stores, restaurants and gas stations. The hotel was clean, quiet and helpful staff. I also appreciated that when I checked in with my dog they provided a list of an emergency vet, boarding, pet stores and pet friendly restaurants.

All common areas and our room were very clean. Every staff member was pleasant and helpful. Bed and bedding were comfortable. Location was very convenient. Nice free breakfast with decent variety. Good coffee in lobby. There were not any parking spots in the hotel lot when we returned at midnight after attending a concert. We were told to park at another hotel lot and cross a grassy area to get to hotel. The rooms don’t have microwaves. The pool was not open due to an issue.

At 9am there was little to no choice of breakfast items.

Good location Our tv didn’t work, finally by 2:30 am we were switched to a different room. No parking - had to park on a different property. Wasn’t very clean and one towel in the room

Pool is not open. My room had an inop smoke alarm, loose floor tiles, 2 kinds of mold in the shower, and the USB ports were inop. The toilet would take 10 minutes to stop flushing. Very disappointing stay.

Front desk staff was awesome.

Amazing place. The parking lot is really limited tho.

Breakfast was good. The Dining area/table and counters needed some attention. Overall very pleasant and friendly staff.

It was very clean and the location was great. The fridge was low to ground and it took a long time for it to cool.

Nice and clean, nice pool The staff was not welcoming, the only staff member that was pleasant. Was the foreign man that checked us in upon arrival. There was nothing that happened to bring me to that opinion except that every single time You would pass one in the hall or by the desk. They would look at you and look away. Not at all friendly, any of them. I would find that a problem if I was the other or the manager which probably one or more were managers.

Positives: room ready on time, multiple options for breakfast. easy parking.
