Ettalong Beach motel

It's a motel- very convenient location, comfortable and clean Bit basic- bathroom cold tap needs to be fixed, wasn't clear what the wifi password was, parking not always available, needs more power points

We stayed 2 nights. Enjoyed the free parking and the great location with the beach across the road. Monique at reception was very friendly and even offered to help us with our luggage. The room was very clean, had air con, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities and a good shower. There is a local small IGA supermarket nearby as well as places to eat. The motel is a bit dated and the bathroom a bit small but fine for our needs.

It is directly opposite the beach, and has shops, cafe's and restaurants nearby. There is an air conditioning unit in the bedroom that works well. The full size fridge freezer was new. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided. The bed was clean and comfortable. It is very dated. The bathroom/ toilet area are old and the plug holes are rusty. The blinds in the bedroom, let in lots of light. There is quite a lot of road noise at night. There is no hair dryer provided.

The sleeping quarters were clean and well presented. The beds were comfortable fridge was clean. All utensils were clean and in good order What I particularly liked was the Manager - Rita. She went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed, and was helpful when asked for directions to different places. Lovely lady Bedroom -- insufficient power points: only one between 2 beds and that was on the window side. There was none by the single bed. There were, however, 2 near the ceiling that were out of reach - on the other side of the room. Bathroom: The shower cubicle was not sealed. The step into the shower was cracked. The sealant on the handbasin was disgusting - it had not been cleaned prior to sealing. The wall behind the sliding door is splitting and falling apart. The air fresheners were dry and no longer working. Lastly, the curtain rail in the shower needs to be cleaned

Amazing staff. Great value for location. Free Parking available. Cafe downstairs. Across from the beach . Close to restaurants and pubs Shower heads/ shower heat. But you get that value back in the price and location

Great location. Clean and comfortable. Staff kindly addressed a special request. There was low level background music playing somewhere most of the day and into the night. Most people wld not notice or care so its not a deal breaker.. I don't think staff have any control over this. There was a lot of light coming in around the blinds at night. This cld be remedied. Other than that, it was great value and enjoyed the stay.
