Well, check in is at 4:00 pm. Arrived at 4 to check in and had to stand in line for 45 minutes to only find out that our room was not even ready. It wasn’t ready until 6:30 pm, already charged for the room while I wait for a text to tell me it was ready.

It was all good.

Very nice stay. The interior was outdated but very clean.

The apartments could use a facelift.

We had a very short visit but we would love to return some day. The kids loved the slides at two of the pools. It looks like there’s great options for more of an adult only vibe pools. Everything there is just beautiful.

Rooms are old and worn it just didn’t feel clean felt more like a cheap motel. Room I got look nothing like what I saw on website rooms are old and worn.

No elevators, gave us wrong room number and had to drive all the way back to front desk to correct. Everything is driving distance

We had such a wonderful time. We all wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was all so wonderfully helpful. We were able to get groceries delivered from Walmart right to our door. I do highly recommend the resort restaurant everything we had was delicious. Our younger kids loved the pools and splash pads and our older kids loved the water slide and arcade. The trolleys were very convenient for getting around.

Stay was awesome! Beautiful property and quiet property. Only issue was the map can be confusing to find areas if it's your first visit ... but the family loved it and I hope to be able to return again. Definitely recommend !

The property was nice and staff was friendly.

Check in was flawed. We had to wait for our room to be made ready. This was after the 4pm check in time. And then when we were given a room key, it turned out that there were people already in that room. We had to return to the front counter and again wait for another room.

Resort is nice but the rooms were a bit old, bathroom needs a bit of a revamping, there's mold on sinks, other than that is comfortable but one thing they need to work on is their check in experience it took almost an hour to check in, and after that they tried to get us to participate in their timeshare thing. They need extra staff for check in there were two people and a very long long line. If you are with family or friends make sure you are in the same area, the resort is huge and you need to drive from area to area. The restaurant serves coffee in paper cups even when you are eating in, would be nicer to use actual cups, less trash...food was ok

-Front desk understaffed. 15-20 minute wait to check-in. -Room was not ready at 4 pm check-in time. Front desk advised they would message me when the room was ready. After receiving no updates, I asked about my room at 6:45 pm via text message and was told housekeeping was still working. I never received a message stating my room was ready. I finally received keys at 8:30 pm after going back to front desk to ask about the status of my room in person. -Walls between rooms are thin, sound from adjoining unit’s TV easily heard in living/dining areas. -General condition of villa was mediocre: sewage odor emanating from bathroom drains, broken window shades that don’t fully close, broken fan in toilet room. -“Concierge” is just a salesperson pushing timeshare presentations. Guests are forced to go to the “concierge” to get a parking pass. This was my family’s second stay at the Welk and due to the overall poor experience, we will likely never return.

It is a little out dated, but the property is huge. Cleanliness is definitely more important to ME, I feel they did a great job. There are activities to do all day if you want to stay busy and many pools to relax by with plenty of chairs. I will definitely be back.

Very disappointed with the room outdated carpets with stains overall I gave it about six not worth the price checking took me about 50 minutes not enough personnel .no place to go grab a bite to eat The restaurant they got there not worth it.. mediocre market very disappointed with the welk resort...

Family friendly, helpful staff, very clean rooms.

The canyon grill has good food and Ricardo was the best server. However, disappointed that they didn’t have Starbucks and when we ordered espresso drinks they took a long time and only 16 oz. Only did that once. Loved the farmers market! Nice to have that! Loved having the golf carts handy to take us around the resort! Cleaning of the unit was not the best. After waiting 2 hours for our room to be cleaned and inspected, we found dust on the counters and in bathrooms and bedrooms. Also the washer dryer unit needed cleaning but we did it bc takes too long to get housekeeping. Took housekeeping 3 tries to get our room finished during a mini cleaning and still missed one of the bedrooms. Other than the cleaning, we enjoyed the resort! It’s a great place for families. They need to get better at housekeeping and really have a coffee shop so we can get good and right coffee rather than driving to Starbucks.

Great property, no elevators. Being placed on the third floor with 2 small children was hard, 4 flights of stairs to transport stroller. Checked in at 2:18pm and keys were not ready until 4:20pm.

The resort is amazing! We loved it from the pools, to the gym, and on site market store. We stayed a full week and live the one bedroom we booked. The only downside is the location. We had to drive approximately 40-50 minutes to get to the San Diego area where we really wanted to be. Others than that it is a wonderful property to do a staycation if you don’t plan to go anywhere offsite.
