Having been to Italy in the recent past we expected small so the size was fine. The breakfast was great! I’m excited to learn how to make frolla, my new favorite pastry! I love hard boiled eggs and there they were! Hot and perfectly cooked! Ready to peel and eat. Our view was of a very nice park, lots of kids burning off energy in the evenings before dark. The bed was great! Very clean! I would have loved a fan in the room. It started getting warm outside and I wanted air movement to cool down for sleeping.

Location was great. Room was nice. Loved the balcony. Private parking was very much appreciated. Facilities were historic and beautiful. The breakfast started at 8 AM. Would have been more convenient for it to start at 7 AM as we generally had full days planned while in Ercolano. The breakfast felt like it was not enough. Not enough food put out for the number of guests.

Stayed for 1 night & it was a Good location for an easy walk to visit Herculaneum & have delicious food in a near by restaurant. Room was clean & comfortable. Found it a bit of a challenge to find at first as not well marked & blockade at the front but once we figured it out staff opened up area for easy parking.

Big room, value for money Cleanliness

Nice breakfast served on an outside deck with a very nice view. The beds were in a cramped loft, a bit difficult to access during the night. Room was adequate in size. Neighbor hood a bit scruffy and quite busy.

Unexpected extra pay for VAT (it said included in booking.com). They made us pay 8 euros for 2 people. The staff was not too friendly. It was bare minimum but we did not feel welcomed. When asked for a favor to take 2 towels with us on the beach they declined saying they don’t have extra. Private and safe parking is mentioned in the booking but it is not even owned by them and it’s extremely expensive - something like 10 euros per hour. There is a big parking lot across the road which is free but it does not look safe at all. Shattered glasses all over it. Shady individuals roaming there. Our car survived 1 night but it’s definitely a risk.

Good breakfast, good room. View from the terrace was very nice, the only downside was that the windows are not sound proof and you could hear the loud southern traffic at night.

Very nice villa (built in the XVIII. Century), easy to reach. The staff very kind. Nice view to the sea and Vesuvio.

Nice stay… interesting building, looks very glamorous but a little bit tired inside. Staff helpful but breakfast was a bit limited.

Modern accommodation in an elegant building, Villa Battista has a wonderful view of sunset over the Bay of Naples. Cira is wonderful friendly and helpful host. Villa Battista is a perfect location to explore Herculaneum, which is a short walk away. The bus to visit Vesuvius is also within walking distance. I would recommend Villa Battista highly!

I was on the non street side of the building, so it was quiet and there was a nice view of the adjoining property green space. The street isn’t particularly busy, but it is made of stones so each car passes with tire noise. My room was eclectic, with the bed in a loft and high ceilings. There is a common terrace on each of the two floors with a nice view of the sea and sunset. Breakfast was delicious warm pastries, hard boiled eggs, coffee, juice and toast. I think this would be a good accommodation for travelers with a car. I was traveling by train and chose it, in part, because it was listed as close to the trains. It was about a mile from each train station and since the sidewalks are not smooth or continuous, it was a bit of a challenge getting to the building with my carry on roller. It is located in an area of small businesses, so there are very limited restaurants within walking distances and no night life.

The view is by far the best! Our room had a view of the Vezuvius, which could also be seen from the breakfast terrace. From there you could also see the rest of Ercolano and the sea, so you can understand why I am mentioning the views being the hotel's strongest feature. But also worth mentioning is that the staff was very lovely and helpful, the breakfast was quite substantial for a continental one, and I really liked the fact you could use the terraces and balconies in the evenings. Our room had the bed on the mezzanine level, which was an interesting layout. We had our rooms tidied every day which I have found a bit excessive, given that we weren't expecting that the first day. Would be handy to have 'Do not Disturb' signs for the door the small couch in our room was quite stained and grubby and it really didn't make a good impression although we had a rack with hangers for our clothes I think a proper wardrobe would have been a better idea

All was very nice. Friendly staff, good location, quiet room. Thank you.

It was very close within walking distance to the entrance of Herculaneum entrance. Room was very clean and a beautiful view from the terrace. Everything was fine, room was a little hot as they have the air conditioner on an energy saving mode. So you cannot adjust it. But we were fine!
-
very nice staff, great included breakfast, right next to a very nice pizza restaurant and very close to Herculaneum!

Nothing, arrived and 2 rooms were not available as booked, booked 2 singles, only double free 1st night Could not fulfill obligation

Very clean room and a good size. The breakfast was good for the price we paid and there was a choice of cereals, pastries, cake, toast, cold meats and cheeses. The hotel was located very close to the Herculaneum excavations and about 1 mile from the train station to get to Naples. There were some reasonable restaurants and bars within 15-20 minutes walking distance of the hotel The breakfast area was a bit 'tired' - rusty chairs and worn out seat pads.
