Sonesta Select Durham Research Triangle Park

Room not clean, ants every night on the end table between the beds. Lamp had no light bulb was told they would deliver one and never did. Red roach huge on the floor when we walked in after our 3rd night. We were on 3rd floor the hallway was very humid. Overall Very disappointing. You get what you pay for.

la verdad llegamos y la primera habitacion tenia sangre en la alfombra pedimos que nos la cambiaran y no se sabia que era peor aceptar la nueva o quedarnos en la anterior, la nueva asignacion la habitacion estaba sin hacerle aseo, humeda y no apta para clientes que estan pagando, ya por el cansancio decidimos aceptarla y quedarnos alli, ya nosotros fuimos los que aseamos la habitacion para hacerla mas habitable, la verdad les falta mucho en hoteleria, no recomiendo para nada la linea sonesta

Nice please especially for the constant very clean, nice pool. But there isnt any breakfast or hot food as advertised

The room had a bad smell, carpet is stained. Great location for my event but it is poorly cleaned or maintained. I will not recommend it to anyone in its current condition.

It was a okay place to stay.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The room had only 1 set of towels, and a dead roach in the bathroom. Hotel was convenient and quiet and parking was plentiful.

I stayed for one night, the room was clean and the guy at the front desk I had no issues with, there was plenty of parking available and for the price I would go back again. just like the reviews I read said, the hallways did smell like smoke but the room I was in did not.

Room clean, sizeable and had a large shower in the bath. Bed was comfortable but pillows were small. TV actually worked well. Our dog was accepted easily and had a small upcharge. Registration desk staff friendly and welcoming but had strong accents that made communication hard.

The hotel was reasonably priced and the conditions were that of an older hotel. There was wear and tear but the staff seemed to do a good job considering the years of use. There was evidence of some remodeling going on. My overall rating is 3 1/2 for the facility and 4 for the staff.

Staff was excellent, it’s obvious that they are renovating and improving the hotel however the rooms were in poor condition. Carpet was as very dirty with questionable stains. Beds were modestly comfortable.

There was no ice machine working at this hotel. The faucet on the sink was extremely loose. The phone didn't work in the room. Wasn't very happy about those things. The bed was okay. Couldn't use the side door to enter hotel, which was closet to the elevator. Had to walk in the front of the hotel to get to elevator. Construction at the hotel as well.

The staff are friendly and the lobby looks amazing! The rooms are out dated and the beds and pillows are uncomfortable.Also the TV's are not smart TV's and the cable TV that is provided is very complicated to try and find a channel to watch. The pool was always clean and each room has a balcony which was great. They also do not have breakfast in the morning but do have snacks in the lobby. Parking was great it was free and you could park anywhere. Overall it wasn't terrible , just a couple upgrades would make it a 5 star.

The room was clean and comfortable.

However the phones don't work, the TV is barely watchable and they never collect the waste or wet towels. You have to take things to the front desk in your own. There is so much more. Oh don't go in the pool. There are no chemicals keeping the water safe.

I don't even want to waste my time on this place but if possible, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Property is in a good area in Durham, with dining in walking distance.
