Masters Inn Atlanta - Doraville at I-85 & 285

Cheap hotel so expectations not high. Room clean but property in bad condition. The door to my room did not lock. That is a major concern. You could just push the door open. They need to fix that.

Decent stay for the price

The bus stops are a block away, very convenient to local shopping and Marta Stations. Very convenient access to I 85/2-85.

They kicked me out and they stayed with my money if I could get a refund that would be much better

If you don't have a $50 cash deposit. I would not even bother staying there. I literally had to go and borrow cash from a stranger to be able to get into my hotel room. In this day and age who carries cash with them. Another thing too is, be very careful getting into the parking lot. The driveway getting into it, I literally saw someone's muffler laying there.

Beware of unexpected $50.00 cash deposit for each room will return at checkout time. Clerk was firm she did accommodate me of my choice of room. Surprisingly great lighting and many cameras. But no police presence. After all I made it comfortable to my liking for only a one night stay.

Horrible and caught lung infection from mold while there

It was very clean! The room was great, you get what you pay for. Staff were great and check in and out was smooth! They do require a full refundable $50 cash deposit at check in! They had an atm there to deposit cash if needed. It was so easy checking out and we did get our full refund you just HAVE TO KEEP THE CASH RECEIPT! The location isn’t the best. It’s a bad area to be in but no one bothered us. You just have to really watch surroundings. They do require a full refundable $50 cash deposit at check in!

It wasn’t clean. Left at 11am after switching rooms because of their lack of cleanliness, came back at 9:30pm and the 2nd room was still dirty. We checked out.

Not sure why all the 1 and star hotels do NOT CLEAN THE HARDWARE like the sink faucet shower hardware,etc. it’s disgusting. The water and tear is to be expected since the rate is lower and it is cleaner than most other hotels of the same star level. However, the bedsheets had a hole. There spring of the mattress pokes through the bed and I feared for my life awakened by someone trying to knock down the door beside me (domestic dispute and the police came). Except for the domestic dispute, it was what I expected from a 1/2 star hotel.

The hotel staff had an attitude And another Masters in they don't take a deposit but in this one they do

Room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned but bearable considering only the two-night stay. Bugs, bathroom door wouldn’t completely close, no iron & stained bedding. Traveling between cities and too exhausted to complain. Not safe for female, solo travelers as they put me on the far back building with dim lighting and no security. Cheap but definitely not worth staying long-term.
