Everything was perfect ?

Let cation was good Bath plug did not work, spa did not work, shower head was too low, so you hav eto bend down or sit in the bath for the shower to spray on you. Of course oyu can hold it but that is hard when you wash your hair. Water went all over the floor as bath seemed to be leaking. Sink was cracked. Shower/bath experience terrible. An extra blanket would have been nice. Room was nice, but a little cramped

The room was delayed for one hour it had not been cleaned. Checked in just after 4pm, instead of 3pm. Team was great, free glass of wine at the bar then a bottle for the room, complimentary! Great save! There was a spider in the bathroom and the toilet roll kept falling off the holder because it was defective. When I ran the jacuzzi tub, some particles came out of the jets so may need to clean those.

I was in room 8, room was comfortable not big, the bathroom was massive compared to the room, not that it was an issue. The dual showers ideal for a couple. As the building is old floorboards creak a little didn't hear anything from outside the door which was good. Nice central location with a bar and restaurant downstairs and a nice beer garden out the back. Parking on site. All rooms are up a flight of stairs which may or may not affect less mobile peeps. I cant think of anything in particular

We were able to change rooms when our booked room was unacceptable. Our room booked initially was unacceptable as every floorboard sqeaked loudly. The round bed was too small and our feet would have hung over the side. No window. The alternative room was only accessible from outside the main building but was more comfortable. We were greatful to be able to change rooms quickly and without argument.

the location is perfect. The room size was perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly,

Beautiful old hotel, spacious room and bathroom. Great location, in the city centre and close to many restaurants and bars. Floor was very creaky :)
-
Location good Old and dated ..long stairs …tv not visible from bed to relax. Pillows look nice and fluffy but then go to hard to sleep with. No iron and board standard in room. $239 of peak expensive for old pub type accommodation.

Meal was lovely. Spa not working. Bath leaks and water end up on bathroom floor. Toilet leaks on floor.

+ Fantastic location in the heart of Daylesford. Close to all shops, Coles supermarket, cafës and restaurants. + Very large hot tub bath. + Easy access at all times. + On-site parking. + Friendly staff. + Not too expensive. + Smart TV with Netflix and other services (have been updated). - Dim inroom lighting. - Some lights not working and most others have been replaced from bright downlights to low power, ~5W small bulbs. - Air conditioner was functional but dripping when cooling. - Minor but no toothpaste or toothbrush, though you can buy then nearby for <$3. - Cafe and restaurant prices are almost double that of nearest town, which is consistent across most of Daylesford.

Bed was comfy Room was so dark and lighting around the property in general was bad
-
The location. The staff were not friendly. Dated and not well maintained. Toilet seats loose in rooms and cafe food was just ok.

Passable
-
Great location and delicious dinner, wine and breakfast all at the same venue
-
The room we originally booked was not the room we were given on checkin.
-
Location is great. The whole hotel needs updating and the level of cleanliness is very average. The attached restaurant is not worth visiting. This is a great pity, as the hotel used to be incredible.

Very poor

Location and charming building Paid for a deluxe room with spa bath. Room was riddled with maintance issues. First one was spa bath leaking and then tripping the fuse. Secondly, TV didn’t work. Thirdly, the light on the balcony didn’t work, so couldn’t sit outdoors. Very disappointed for $360 a night.
