Staff very responsive. Always on touch. The hotel's location is excellent - in the heart of the old town. The ability to leave luggage at the hotel very necessary option given that such a service is rare in Italy

Very good location, breakfast good Breakfast - I would like to see eggs and cheese. For people on law cabs diet is zero choice.

Old world charm in this roomy locanda. The stairs to the second floor were a challenge but the staff were very helpful. Breakfast is a bit hit and miss. They did apologise but luckily I am not so hungry in the morning.

Fantastic old building in the middle of the old city but close enough to the beach, marina, the castle and new city. The castle is unfortunately closed at the moment

Amazing building..a trip to time...perfect location..clean rooms, and very helpful owner. The water takes a while until it gets warm, but it gets warm don't be afraid.. the owner would be nice to speak a bit more English but still the job is done.

Pleasant

The location was too good it was located in the centre. The staff was good and cooperative and speaks english well. The breakfast includes coffee biscuits yougart bread and juices which was fair enough. We requested for double bed but got two single light weight beds attached togather with a fitter sheet and were drifting apart. Bed was uncomfortable for us and lots of stairs to climb because it was an old building and has no lift.

Exceptional

The location of the building, in the old town of Crotone. The high ceilings large rooms and views of the church. Decor done in sympathy to the age of the building. Very unuusal having to go through the big door and courtyard. Rooms airy, set up for families and groups. Breakfast adequate. Walkable to new town, train station and beach. Would recommend for a couple of nights to see a different part of Italy, somewhere off the beaten track. Plumbing system unique but added to charm of the experience. You have to turn hot water in the sink before you are able to use the shower, but all is explained. Quite a few stairs to climb, not for someone with problems getting upstairs , no lift.

Great location and very atmospheric building (an old palazzo) The grand old house was wasted, looking more like a primary school.

Clean simple accommodation in a beautiful building. Perfect location. Bikes available. Hot water was hopeless.

The property is like a palazzo in the heart of the historic centre of Crotone. The rooms are very spacious and have the highest ceiling I have ever seen! The staff are really friendly and helpful and the breakfast served in the morning is the typical of this hotel category in Italy - ok for the money that you pay. I would choose it again. Simple fresh breakfast, very tasty coffee.

We had most wonderful stay in Ostello di Chiara. Beautiful, large room with own bathroom. Well working WiFi and AC. Tasty breakfast with coffee, juice, cereals, yoghurt, bread etc. The house in centro storico is really amazing. Crotone is a nice town with excellent Beach and nice lungomare. Nothing

The location was excellent in the old town, in a fine old building, very close to the archaeological museum. The staff were friendly and helpful. The owner recommended a restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed and went to twice. I loved Crotone and the Villa Chiara, and would happily go back there.

Extremely courteous and friendly staff - a real delight. Fabulous location.
