Crianlarich Youth Hostel is a 4-star modern bungalow-style building nestled below a forest in the Strathfillan Glen. This hostel is just over an hour's drive from Stirling and provides a great base for exploring the northern area of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The hostel offers private rooms, dorms, a self-catering kitchen, a lounge and dining area. There is also a drying room, access for wheelchair users and ample parking. The village of Crianlarich is the halfway point on the West Highland Way. Twenty Munros (hills) dominate the landscape, including Ben More and Ben Lui. There are several woodland walks nearby and trout fishing permits can be bought locally.

Friendly staff and some nice touches of niceness like the free coffee and basket of toiletries. Also extremely clean. Only downside was the smell of fried bacon taking over the hostel from the communal kitchen. Maybe invest in a good exhaust?

Laid-back vibe, nice big dining room, well-stocked kitchen, Netflix!, close to Londis store (which carries a large variety of necessities), walk to pubs. Also close to train station. Clean throughout. Quiet. Showers good. Drying room very good! coulda used another chair in dorm room -- can't comfortably sit on bottom bunks. Otherwise, no complaints.

The check-in time was 9 PM, but we arrived quite late, around 11:30 PM. Despite the late arrival, the lady welcomed us very warmly and was available to assist us. The room was clean and ready for us, and the bathroom was also very clean. Overall, it’s a lovely property with great hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay! ⭐️

What I liked most about the Hostel was its cleanliness and the convenience of the facilities, particularly the drying room, which was very useful.

Really nice and cozy. We had a room with 3 beds and it was actually pretty big. It is a hostel so it did have everything expected from a hostel and it was all great. If you are someone who knows they are booking and know that this is not a hotel then this will be great. N/A
