Hotel Elefante Bianco

The hotel has an elevator, which was very helpful as I have a broken foot and am on crutches. The room was spacious. The refrigerator only cooled to room temperature.

Hotel staff was simply amazing and super helpful, the Romanian lady from reception that open the morning shift was incredibly helpful, each day called a taxi for me because I did not use roaming or got the chance to buy an Italian sim, each morning prepared the breakfast because due to Cosmoproof I had to try to leave early. Breakfast was amazing and much better than some hotels in the city from London to be honest with you (prosciutto, salami, cheese, coffee, juice and a large variety of pastries). Despite all the negative reviews I have seen, the room was big and clean. The only problem, which is not their fault really, is the location which is in the middle of nowhere 15km out of the city and during cosmoproof is nearly impossible to find a taxi back. Maybe because of this lady o was lucky enough to find taxi every morning within 10 min of waiting. But whenever you book the hotel it is your job to check the location if is suitable or not. I had to book this hotel because the prices in Bologna city were a totally rip off, more expensive than Burj Al Arab and living in Dubai for 10 years I can make this comparison or with 1 night in the Bologna city I can spend 1 month in Thailand in a great hotel apart. If you planning to visit Bologna, Hotel Elefante Bianco can offer you great clean rooms, great breakfast but you should rent a car to move around because the taxis are very expensive (average 50 euro per trip) and in case there is an event in the city, due to such pour organization, you will have difficulties finding a taxi back.

breakfast was disappointing, reception and staff availability very disappointing. No one there at arrival or departure Location was acceptable, after finding it. Booking.com and hotel need to give better information on the hotel location, correct road name, code, area. Hotel and food was very disappointing.

The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very kind. Bathroom is too small, you can't normally seat on the toilet.

Nothing Positioning, lack of parking, rude oersonnel, very old building, creepy environment

Close to the highway OK for 1 night when passing through Late checkin is flexible It is situated right behind a bar, which can't be seen on the map. There were people arguing and screaming at each other all night and followed us towards our car at 6 in the morning. Not an environment I would want for a family with children..
