Outdated, has a smell

Nothing to like,it was so cold and the kettle wasn’t working ?? The smell in the room is so bad and the bathroom smells horrible too?

Location is very good and strategic considering its location. Internet connection disconnect immediately power is Off. and restoring power takes minutes. So It is advisable to add a UPS to keep internet uninterrupted and speed up the power shift.

central location, that's unfortunately the only good thing. had no room service on any of the nights i stayed there, toilet flush wasnt working well, cigarette buds in window frame, whole place is smelly. power went out one night and we had to be evacuated. understand that that's not their fault probably but staff was rude and overwhelmed, could at least have provided some water for guests or sth to help with morale as it was during very bad heatwave as well. sheets and pillows had been washed but were slightly ragged, stained and had a bad smell

The location The bar and restaurant were not open when they should have been, the bathroom had a leak, the carpets and walls were filthy, the pre ordered prosecco never arrived….awaiting refund. The prices were seriously inflated for concert weekend….i could go on and on

The room was on a higher floor, so the outside noise wasn't a problem in this particular room. The room was large, and despite the disgusting smell in the hallway, didn't smell too bad. The hallways in the hotel smelled strongly like stale beer and cigarettes. There are very prominent signs throughout the hotel to note it is a non-smoking place. These indicate it's a problem, and the smell confirmed it.

I have been coming to Coventry since 2019 and I do t go no where but Britannia hotel. The location is good, the employees r good and never had an issue. The check in timing, 3pm is really too late for a person coming straight from the airport . Few years back I have tried with the receptionist to check me in and I was told that I had to pay some amount which I did. I mean come on at least make it 1pm. Other than that all is good .

Location is very central, great value for money. Beds can be comfy or extremely uncomfortable depending on which room. This week I was lucky! No water available in room and bath has a mixer tap to fill up kettle so take your own water. No way to contact reception if you have any problems other than going down there.

I stay here most weeks but there was little good to say about this room this week About 9.30pm there was a very loud banging noise that sounded like a helicopter trying to land in the room. No phone to call reception, and no response when I emailed hotel through booking.com. at 10.15 I discovered the banging was coming from the radiator and at 10.30 managed to stop it by turning radiator to full heat which was awful. This banging would have been heard by anyone in a room close to mine. Springs in the bed were so bad you could see them sticking out. This was a terrible night's sleep.

Location Not good breakfast (waste of money) Dont book B&Bplan

It's gotta be the most run down hotel in the country
-
Location excellent for exploring the city The pillow on my bed was very thin. I did ask for another one before I went out after breakfast and expected one in the room later that day. I had to go to reception to ask again and was told there were no spare pillows. This seemed rather short-sighted. Also I feel that the chambermaid should have noticed that the pillow was inadequate.

Dirty room,staff sleeping

The location was good It wasn't clean enough. When we asked for room cleaning and didn't get it for the specified room we told the reception, we didn't even make a complaint just asked for cleaning again. The next day one of the housekeeping members came to our room started yelling at us for no reason and started a fight when we were responding in a calm manner.

It was my first time in any Britannia hotels. It was great experience and I booked Britannia hotels in other cities I visited after that.
-
It was spacious and the kids were in a separate room within the room There was no nearby parking and being disabled it was a pain trying to find some where to park.
