OC Hotel Costa Mesa

Decent, well kept Motel. Free parking. Breakfast included. Friendly staff. Aircon quite loud (the neighbors, I turned mine off)

I was sincerely impressed because it was a spur of the moment booking andI didn’t know the area. I was kind of afraid but when I got there, it was nice and clean. The rooms are clean. They’re updated and they give you cute little slippers and they even give you a toothbrush and toothpaste, and that’s a first for me. I am one to never leave reviews, but I guess my expectations were exceeded because I normally stay at namebrand hotels like the Hilton or Marriott so I just thought I was going to have a bad experience, but it was the complete opposite.😊

Continental breakfast was of lesser appeal. But the beds were so comfortable! The towels so thick. There is even a robe and slippers if you’d like to use.

Great stay. Check in was quick and the staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. Walking distance from an amazing Italian restaurant, Filomena's. Delicious chicken picatta, pizza was awesome 👌, New York style with perfect crust (I'm from New York so I'm a pizza snob and this pizza was fantastic). Room was neat and clean with fridge, microwave (which was perfect for our leftover pizza and pasta). Continental breakfast had bagels and cream cheese, fruit, muffins, yogurt enough to tide us over til our brunch. Free parking. Close to Corona del Mar Beach which was beautiful and to Orange County Fair and mall. Wonderful stay. Definitely recommend.

An older style motel but has been updated so is quite nice. Room is a little small but okay, and facility is next to a freeway, but our unit was far enough away that there was very little, if any, freeway noise. Very friendly and help staff. Breakfast doesn’t have as many options as some hotels but was fine for me. Coffee/latte machine produces lots of choices, so it’s great for coffee drinkers.

I loved the layout of the hotel and their hot tub is so amazing as well, Friendly staff and close to everything.

If you are in town during the OC Fair , it’s only a 15 minute walk away ! The hotel has a very good complimentary breakfast and a relaxing whirlpool spa as well as a pool. The OC Hotel , is a great value and my wife and I highly recommend it !

Honestly the most important about a hotel is the bed that you’re sleeping in. It was a little stiff as well as the pillows. Breakfast is a 2/5 stars like how are there no eggs in a continental breakfast, other than that every else was clean and staff were helpful.

The room wasn’t necessarily dirty, but it was definitely dingy and very worn-looking. It had that feeling where everything technically looked okay, but I still didn’t quite feel clean or comfortable in it. I even found myself checking the room for bed bugs when I arrived, which isn’t something I normally feel the need to do. For over $200 a night, I just expected a much cleaner, fresher, and more updated room, and I don’t feel the quality justified the price. That said, the staff was nice. The gentleman I interacted with was extremely nice and helpful.

You can tell the property is very well kept, recently renovated, and super clean throughout. Everything felt fresh, comfortable, and cared for, which made our stay even better. The free breakfast was also amazing and a great way to start day 2 before heading out. Overall, this was one of the best hotels we have stayed at in the area. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the OC Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and comfortable place to stay.

The room was clean although the bed sheets might need to be replaced as they looked old. the water pressure in the shower was great

This is a fantastic hotel. Rooms were clean and felt new. The only thing that would have been nice is to have access to a washer and dryer - but they do have a laundrymat close by. The breakfast was a nice bonus. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!
