Spacious, comfortable room with excellent airport soundproofing. Great location, polite and helpful staff, and free lobby coffee. Perfect for a quick stay. Grubby, worn carpet that feels gross underfoot. No in-room slippers despite being a 4-star property. Noisy air conditioner unit.

We had an amazing stay! At first, we weren’t excited about being on the first floor. However, that ended being the best perk. We had to walk into the beautiful courtyard to enter our room. The courtyard also served as the outdoor restaurant. The convenience of walking out of our room to a table with top-notch service and the best food in Costa Mesa was incredible. The room was nicely appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable. The historic pictures of the area on the walls on the way to the ice machine were nostalgic. We saw our former house pictured on one of the first blocks in Newport Shores and many other familiar places. I highly recommend a stay at this Ayres.

Love the courtyard area. Breakfast was good and decently priced. Love the later check out time! Rooms seemed a little dated, carpet should be replaced, touch ups in the bathroom do not look professionally done and you now have to pay daily for parking.
