About Phoenix Copenhagen
Dating back to the 17th century, this luxury hotel is 3 minutes’ walk from Amalienborg Palace and the charming Nyhavn waterfront. It offers elegant rooms with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Inspired by Louis XVI-era décor, Phenix Copenhagen’s rooms feature gold chandeliers, draped curtains and antique-style furniture. The historic feel is further enhanced by the lobby’s marble floors and period paintings. Here, guests can use an internet computer, while staff will gladly give directions or recommend local attractions. The in-house Restaurant Von Plessen offers charming surroundings and French-influenced cuisine. Murdoch's Books & Ale is a cozy yet lively brasserie and café bar. Some rooms have access to our Executive Lounge.

Historic, elegant building near all attractions The room was a bit tight

Great location, couple blocks from Nyhavn. Traveling solo so room was small but adequate. Very quiet. Breakfast had lots of choices…a second coffee machine would be a good addition. Everyone at front desk very friendly. Copenhagen is a wonderful city, being there during jazz festival a bonus. Nothing.

Lovely hotel, great staff, very nice cozy room, central location and amazing breakfast buffet !

Great location in city centre The room had not been cleaned before it was shared with me. It had someone else's toothbrush in the bathroom & used towels. Price did not match general state of hotel.

Location is superb! Walking distance to major tourist attractions! Can’t think of any.

It was a beautiful lobby and friendly staff I asked for a room with two beds but they gave me a single queen and had to move the next day . Both rooms were very small with no place to put your suitcases. No one told me that we had to use the keys to get the lights and TV to go on. The twin beds were uncomfortable an the bathrooms were small. It's an old hotel so I guess I should have known better.

Breakfast even if not very varied, was alright. I did not get the booked "1 queen size bed", I got 2 single beds pushed together with a gap in the middle. The shower area was too small, water pooled around the toilet, making it basically unusable without some cleaning after each shower.

The sink was draining very slowly

Phoenix Copenhagen is in a great spot, close to historical sites and popular places to have fun. There were a lot of choices for breakfast, and it was very good.
