Everything was as advertised but the room could have been cleaner.

Room great size. Bit bare-bone but definitely met our needs. Love the shower and the non-slip floor in the shower. Adequate number of outlets on both sides of bed. Close to dining. Could use shower gel in shower. Pillows not very comfortable but I always bring my own anyway so not really an issue. I slipped and fell in rocks next to our parking spot so wish it had been grass but I am OK except for a bruise.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was great because it was right off Harbison and close to the mall, plenty of restaurants, shopping, and other things to do. We were also surprisingly close to downtown, which was perfect because we went downtown for a date night. The hotel was clean, the staff was amazing and friendly, and I really liked having a small kitchen area in the room. Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable stay. I honestly didn’t have any major complaints about my stay. Everything was pretty convenient for what we needed.

The property looked good checking in. But upon getting to your room you have to walk through a creepy hallway. Once you into the room it smells like mold. The towels have stains on them. The shampoo and conditioner bottle was also dirty. I overall didn’t enjoy my stay and checked out a day early.

Overall our stay was good. The only issue we had we had a leak from the AC we called about having it fixed and the person at desk had us get towels and he would have fixed next day. When we got back the next day from being gone all day it was not fixed and there was water all over the floor. Then that night we were moved to a different room which I appreciated.

We needed a 2 bedroom and they had that available along with a kitchenette. It was perfect! All the staff was courteous and respectful. We enjoyed the place that, I booked another day and then things to a turn for the worse See the letter below that I sent to 2 state departments, choice hotel headquarters and to the mainstay/ quality hotel in harbison south carolina where we stayed. The two state agencies acknowledged my email and responded in a timely manner. I NEVER received an acknowledgement or a reply from the hotel or the choice hotel headquarters! ​To Whom It May Concern, ​I am writing to express my absolute outrage and profound disappointment regarding the dangerous and disrespectful treatment my family received today, Sunday, July 19th, around 2:00 PM, while visiting Harbison, South Carolina. ​While my family was utilizing the pool at the Quality / Mainstay Suites on Columbiana Drive in Harbison, an individual who the hotel employee later stated he was a DHEC employee approached the pool area. Without issuing any warning, request to vacate, or communication to the swimmers, this individual proceeded to spray chemical treatments directly into the water while people—including my three-year-old granddaughter—were actively swimming. ​Immediately following this exposure, my granddaughter complained that her nose was burning. Instead of checking on the guests or explaining his actions, the employee walked away, abruptly told a hotel staff member to shut the pool down, and left the premises. ​As a visitor to your state, I am appalled by this blatant disregard for public safety and basic human decency. This is a severe violation of standard chemical handling protocols. I demand to know: ​What specific chemicals were sprayed into the pool while my family was in the water? ​What disciplinary actions are being taken against this specific employee for putting a toddler and other guests at risk? ​I expect a prompt response detailing the exact substances my granddaughter and other family members were exposed to so that we can monitor their health accurately. ​Sincerely, Gail 302.XXX.XXXX

Great location friendly staff comfortable beds

For the most part everything was good. The shower was very impractical, the shower had was at the back and you'd be cold from the water when u went to put it on. Other than that, it was ok. The biggest issue I had was the washing machine and dryer that the guests used. They were filthy!!! They needed to be cleaned. Even a minimum of once per week, of dusting and checking the filter of the dryer and wiping down the washing machine. Other than that, I give this place, and staff a 10 out of 10. The washing machines and double hotel sign out front, it's confusing.
