La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods

Lacked wifi connection on the TV, a light switch, closet door handles, a bathroom door lock, a bar of soap, or quietness at night. It was loud all night long with beeping and not a nice room. That being said, it was cheap so I can't complain too much.

Pool was shut down, looks like for years. Got to the room and cable box was gone, took forever and going down to ask twice to get someone to look at it, then they couldn't fix it. No offer for any substitution or anything, just it's not working, sorry.

It is the price that I appreciated most. The room was clean but that’s about it. Pretty sure people live there - area seemed mostly safe. Traveling alone - walked to the room outside from the parking lot.

Cute desert cottontail in between the Circle K and the hotel in a tiny greenbelt was safely there daily because any feral cat was well fed with the garbage rodents. Placed needs to be demolished. We'll never stay at a Wyndam owned property again. Website photos are very deceptive.... Disgusting.

Keys broke every other time and rooms were dark ans depressing

I would never stay at this property. When I arrived it took 30 minutes for anyone to come to the front desk. Once checked in I went to the non smoking room that smelled like cigarettes and was dirt. The. Decided not to stay there I returned the room key, cancelled the reservation and was promised my money back. After 10 consecutive days of attempts to recoup my funds was basically told by Expedia that I cannot have my money back because the hotel is unreachable. Complete outrage beware

Overall decent

Most concerning was the damaged-looking room security hardware. We also encountered activity around the property that made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I won’t speculate about other individuals’ circumstances, but the environment was nothing like what we expected from the listing.After night ONE of our confirmed THREE-night stay, our keys to BOTH rooms were deactivated. Staff told us they “thought we checked out,” despite our reservations clearly continuing for two more nights.I took extensive photos because the discrepancy between the listing and reality was unbelievable. This is not a complaint about a hotel being basic or dated. Had we known the actual condition of this property, we would never have come.

What kind of Crack house did I stay in? I am certain there was drugs and prostitution going on in the parking lot and inside as well. Signs all around the property state smoke free property, yet the ground is littered with cigarette butts. The ONLY thing good was the air conditioner!

The Toilet barely flushed and the remote didn’t work and the swimming pool didn’t work the beds were not that comfortable outside look ran down the elevator didn’t work either

I didn’t like anything nothing about this place should be legal to rent! It’s dirty and the shower is for short people! Under 4 ft and the internet in and out! The tv works when it wants too and they are at your door before check out wanting to clean the room very bad experience and would never want anyone to stay at this dirty nasty place they need to condemn it! They have people asking for money walking around and people washing cars and working on cars in the parking lot!

No one should ever stay at this particular La quinta even though I’ve stayed at many other La quinta and most were pretty good. In fact we’re staying at another one in Louisville, Colorado right now that’s very nice. This property looks like it should be condemned immediately. The elevator was broken. The stairs looked like a tractor drove into it. It looked like a drug den. It was actually frightening to even walk around the property.

The check by in was good. The elevator was down, so had to ask for a groundfloor room. When got to the rooms, the one room had cigarette burns all over the bathtub, the remote and tv box did not work, and the hair dryer fell off of the wall. The second room had one lamp that did not work at all, and there was a dirty towel hanging on the bathroom door. Overall was worst hotel experience I have had and I average 3 hotel nights a month for work. i cannot believe that LaQuinta is willing to embarass their name by having it on this property.

This hotel is a joke, they didn’t honor my refund as I was told by the front desk upon check in for a reservation that was supposed to be made for another date. They never canceled my reservation for the date and never honored my refund.

The property is littered with trash and felt like a sketchy area. The staircases and walkways are rusty and dirty and littered with trash and cigarette butts.
