Okay location and room condition

When we got there the room smelled like smoke and the pool was closed.

The first problem hit before we even got to our room: the elevator was out of service, so we had to carry all of our luggage up three flights of stairs. That’s not a great first impression. Then we found out the pool is permanently closed. The staff told us the owner plans to get rid of it altogether. The “free breakfast” was equally disappointing—stale white bread, hard bagels, and stale cereal. We were also told breakfast is being phased out in favor of vending machines. We booked the Deluxe King Suite, but there’s nothing “deluxe” about it. The very first thing we noticed when we walked in was the door handle literally falling off. It set the tone for the rest of the stay. I genuinely feel bad for the employees because they seem to be doing the best they can with what they’ve been given. Unfortunately, it’s clear this property is being neglected, and unless the owner starts investing in it again, it’s only going to continue going downhill. I can’t recommend staying here. There are far better options in the area for the money.

Great stay near the Convention Center.

The room was clean.. that’s the good part.. there was no bathroom fan, bathroom door would stick and had to push to up or close it, elevator was broken, a/c unit would not get cold, tv only allowed 5 channels. We ended up canceling our additional day due to the condition of the hotel. Never again will I chose this location.

The property get a 1 out of 5. When we arrived we were told the elevator didn’t work was told our room was on the 3rd floor and only after I questioned that he found a room on 2. After we drugged our stuff to the room at 10 pm we pretty much jumped in bed because we were tired. When I got up in the morning did I truly see what we got. The AC was leaking water on the floor the molding around the outside wall was loose with appeared to be mold. The shower drained slow. Thank goodness it was only for 1 night. If I thought complaining or asking for a refund was worth it I would. But choose to just get in our car and went 400 miles to home. A real bad experience

The elevator was out of service. Was told it would be fixed over night. Never worked the three days I was there. House keeping never serviced my room. NEVER. I asked at the front desk to have the room cleaned. No action. Picked up my own towels at the front desk Saturday morning. House keeping removed them from my room while I was gone. The hotel shut off my pass card over night before I could check out. I don't want to be racist, But I am fed up with dealing with hotel staff that think nodding their head and smiling resolves a complaint from a guest. This is another bad experience I've had with this hotel chain this year. If they are trying to drive away their customer base, they have found a way to fast track their own failure as a business. And don't get me start on the garage sale chairs they had in the room. The ones in my room, by style and condition must have been 60 years old and completely worn out.

Disappointing

The room was not clean at all
-
staff was amazing, room was nice and clean. AC ran PERFECT.
-
Room was nice, liked the wood floor instead of carpet. Very convenient to convention center and restaurant. I had oxygen delivered to the hotel and when we checked in, the staff already had it in our room for me. Very nice. The staff 2as very fri3ndlt and helpful The bath exhaust fan was extremely noisy. The breakfast was not very good. Not a lot of variety and two different days when I went down at 8am, there were no bagels left and no one ever updated the food. I would have liked some orange juice and butter that was not frozen. My room mate said her bed sloped and uncomfortable. My bed was fine

The room was very clean and bed was quite comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly! I enjoyed the coffee at breakfast. I also loved that it was pet friendly! Absolutely LOVED having a tub!! A nice soak after traveling is so nice!! I wish there were more items for breakfast but, ya know, room was cheap so I really have nothing to complain about.
-
Very limited breakfast options. Nonsense pool closure. Elevator may need maintenance.
-
Staff was very friendly. Very clean. Always saw staff cleaning all around the property. Pool was closed
-
No frills, affordable, convenient location.
-
Great value. Extras like breakfast were not much but I didn't go there for breakfast, I went for a clean, quiet rest.

The pool was closed and had been closed for months, even though a picture of it was displayed on the website. Since a pool was a requirement of our stay I wanted to cancel our booking. The person at the desk said they had removed all pool info from the website (not the case) and would not give a full refund. I was forced to pay for a full night and taxes. We paid the required night fees and took our service elsewhere.
