Lovely stay at a lovely cottage. Thank you for making our one night in Christchurch so cozy :)

Very cosy and inviting B&B in a quiet leafy suburb of Christchurch. Easy walking distance to local restaurants and a 10 minute drive to the centre of Christchurch and 20 minute drive to the airport. Your host Chet provides a nice breakfast to start the day. Perfect for that overnight stay or for longer.

Central location and easy to get to Everything was great

Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed meeting other travellers at breakfast and being waited on. Lovely accommodation. Short walk to shops, restaurants, takeaways and our campervan rental.

Amazing location, hosts friendly and helpful, breakfast good quality, the garden was so sweet and the room was clean and lovely. Fantastic experience, would definitely stay again! Everything was perfect!

The hospitality and flexibility shown by the hosts is exceptional. The location is perfect too.

The bed was very comfortable. The off street car parking. Well equipped kitchen. Nice breakfast. Clear instructions for access. No power point in the bathroom. No mirror available for use with the hairdryer. Vanity in bathroom was too cramped.

The staff were always available, very helpful Room temperature was hard to adjust. Room smelt "musty."

A beautiful, historic cottage that is walkable distance to fantastic restaurants and a micro brewery. Fantastic hosts with heaps of great recommendations on what to see in Christchurch. A fabulous breakfast room with an array of breakfast choice and coffee! Also has a small kitchen for guests to gather and/or make their own pod coffees I feel that the bedroom needs a freshen up. The wallpaper and the paint on the doors need to be brightened up. The bathroom had been renovated nicely

At last, a real Bed & Breakfast with so much charm. Hosts Chet & Steve were exceptional. Lots of advice on things to do in Christchurch and places to see. They provided a delicious continental breakfast including a choice of fresh fruit grown in their garden. Great location. We would definitely recommend staying at Designer Cottage

I loved that it was an interesting historical cottage set in beautiful gardens and a lovely leafy street The hosts Chet and Steve were so welcoming and offered a great breakfast! The location is great for getting into the centre of Christchurch but also the advantage of having a great local restaurant close by (You must book in advance) . I highly recommend staying here! Steve and Chet were so kind as we wanted to do a small wash and when we returned later that evening it was neatly folded on the bed.. ! I would say they went the extra mile:) - Nothing
