Ohio House Motel

Great staff who helped us checkin after a long drive. Although it looks so-so from the street, the rooms are great. We would come back here again.

We were in town to take our son to Moody Bible Institute, and OHM met every need we had for our visit. Our room was immaculate, and the location was amazing. Side note, we ordered a micro fridge for our son's dorm room and it was delivered to the front desk. My husband was grabbing it to put in our minivan, and the young man at the desk came from behind the counter and immediately grabbed it so my husband could open the van. Carried it all the way to van!!! Very grateful for his help, and we will be back!!!

Liked location, cleanliness , staff . It was however a little noisy because of the traffic. Also AC was high and could not be controlled

Location was great and staff were fantastic. Could hear a lot of street noise and people out at night from the room.

This property is in a fantastic location and makes for a wonderful place to stay. Almost all major attractions are within easy walking distance, making getting around super convenient without needing extra transportation. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay!

Delightful stay! Tidy and updated room, helpful front desk, fantastic location. I traveled with a lot of things in my car, and I appreciated being able to park in a secure environment.

The location is great, there’s parking and a deli, and the staff is super nice! It’s an old motel so there isn’t much soundproofing.

Exactly as listed. Very basic (no hairdryer etc) but clean and comfortable right in the middle of downtown. Noise level was surprisingly not a problem. Parking is not free but was convenient. Prices were not low like you would expect during our stay because of city summer/conventions but the vibe is better than the lower priced options nearby. Thumbs way up on the attached deli.

Exceptional

Breakfast was included from the attached deli, but I did not try it, unfortunately. My only issue was the noise level of some of the other guests that were staying on the floor above me and around me, but that isn't really something the motel can control and Chicago parties late, so it is what it is. I would absolutely stay here again!

It was really a good place to stay. I gave it only 4 stars because the room was a little uncomfortably warm.

I had an awesome time staying at Ohio House Motel. I’ve driven by it for decades. It was located convenient to the events I needed to do in Chicago, both uptown, and downtown. I’m glad there was on site parking for a very nominal fee, compared to other hotels in the city.

Everything is near in the area with clean and quiet bedroom . Friendly front desk and welcoming

We had a great stay. The only challenge was the noise between rooms as there was a connected room.

Amazing staff, very clean! Would 100% stay there again.
