The hotel building, built in Gothic style in the 14th century, used to be one of the largest buildings in the town. According to historical sources a prominent family of famous stonecutters from Krumlov used to live in this building in the 16th century. Despite the restoration and modernization of the interior, the hotel has kept its historic ambiance intact. The Hotel Arcadie offers accommodations in a quiet and peaceful location. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk person. She was helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, near the town center but very quiet. The view of the castle from our room was spectacular.

We would have liked having an electric kettle with coffee and tea.

Awesome location and the staff was wonderful. The hotel decor and rooms were fantastic and made the stay special ! No AC, but could open windows, had fans, cooled off at night, and was still comfortable in the summer.
