Hotel Il Cefalo

Nothing! Everything was beyond our expectations!

Very friendly personnel, super clean and bright room, exceptional view over the sea and a great breakfast. One of the best hotels we ever visited in Italy!

I read about the area Castellebate by chance but decided to break our trip to Calabria to visit. It thought il Cefalo was just at the bottom of the town but it was a little way along the coast. Best mistake I ever made. The hotel was great, position fantastic and the food was top class!

Everything. I can’t say enough about this hotel and the staff. The owners went above and beyond. They felt like family, well they were even kind enough to look into our family history in the area. The food was the best I had on the trip and exceeded my expectations. The rooms were the cleanest I’ve stayed in and had beautiful terraces overlooking the water with wonderful lounge chairs. I only hope I will be lucky enough to return some day. Not a thing!!!

The location is great. Nice sea view from the room. The staff. We arrived at 5pm and we asked if it was possible to have a sunbed and they charged us 20 euros but they said that we could use it the day after as well. In the morning after breakfast we went to pay the tourist taxes and at the reception they told us that we had to pay another 30 euros to use the sunbed. This is such a lack or respect to change your word. The lifeguard is very arrogant and is trying to sell you the kayaks package. He tried to make us move further away from the sea with some stupid excuses in order to sell our space to some other tourist but we kindly said no!!!!!!!this was insulting!! We had the feeling they just wanted our money. We did not feel like this in a long time, and we will never go back. Not recommend at all!!!!!

Very nice room , private beach and parking , excellent restaurant, a few hundred meters away from the nature reserve of Punta Licosa. The perfect mix to rest and enjoy this wonderful region.

Very nice hotel with awesome sea, super clean water, comfy beach right in front of the hotel. Delicious breakfast that includes variety of sweet and salty options. Great coffee and cakes for breakfast.

Great location, very helpful and kind staff. The breakfast was exceptional - a mix of American, Israeli, and Italian :-) = you can choose from a la carte menu, and - it is included in the room price. The restaurant is very good and flexible. We enjoyed every minute and it was a great finale to a great vacation in south Italy. Non
