Neat little hotel in the heart of Cangas de Onis. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Brilliant shower and fresh, nicely presented rooms. Great view over the river. Tea and coffee making facilities were missed but water was free. Parking is tricky but there is a reserved spot for unloading. Then you drive around looking for a spot. Not a real problem.

There is no breakfast provision but it is surrounded by bars and cafes providing breakfast. The situation, overlooking the river, is very good and central. Better English spoken by staff. Some parking for customer cars - we had an anxious time on the first day finding a parking place in Cangas.

staff were so lovely and helpful, couldn’t do enough for us. we booked last minute and they talked us through everything, room was lovely and spacious with a river view as requested. location was perfect right in town, close enough walk to restaurants/bars/shops and bridges. had an iron for me on request also :)

The location was excellent, a 2 min walk from the center and a 5 min walk from the bus station, where you can take the bus for the Lagos of Covadonga. Alicia at the reception desk was excellent, a happy person and a kind help. We left our luggage at the reception before the check in and then, they took them to our room. The bathroom was very spacious, comfortable and clean and the bed was really comfortable and enormous. The room had a beautiful light and views to the mountain, we loved our big window. You could hear the river with the window open. The housekeeper left some cookies for us, we liked that detail as well as the toiletries offered. The room was simply decorated, which made the stay even more relaxed for us. During specific hours, there was some noise because of the clients of the restaurant located downstairs. Maybe some improvements can be done regarding the sound isolation system of the windows.

We had a memorable stay in Cangas. This small hotel is walking distance to city center, local shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable. Clean and fresh linens. The staff made us feel welcome. They were very friendly and accommodating. We hope to be back some day :) thank you for everything! N/A
