The hotel was pretty good ...only thing was one of the restaurants on the property sold food but it was paid food it would be nice if it was free like the others...but other then that it was fine

I was only here two nights, one right from the airport, the other day we went to isla mujeres and then we left right away the next morning so I cant comment on any of the sister hotels or shared facilities. parking was good and free and good location for the Ultra mar to Isla Mujeres, easy to drive to from the airport. wifi was good, bed was pretty comfortable. food was meh, room was meh, felt like a long dark coffin, bathroom stank, staff at reception were pretty unfriendly, porter was hostile, breakfast fruit wasnt ripe, only had two dinners and two breakfasts but the food was pretty samey. fresh fish first night was gorgeous. this place is "ok" it was the least enjoyable of the 6 properties we stayed in on our trip

Lovely setting. Food very average. Everything felt a bit fatigued and out dated. It's trying it's best but it really isn't what I would describe as luxury. Also its on the lagoon side which has crocodiles in it although we were assured that they don't come near between the hours of 8am and 6pm!

The Mexican restaurant, the omelette for breakfast everyday, the weather and swimming in the ocean (nearby) The staff seemed very unengaged. Upon check in…nothing was explained to me where anything is, what restaurants are available or any events coming up, how to get bottled water, the access to the other resort…so I figured it out over the first couple days. The extra activities like making a pizza or burrito or a drink in a pineapple were brief and taught like at a kindergarten. Each activity followed by the coordinator asking for a Trip Advisor review…unprofessional.

lovely big room and cleaned well every day. nice view from our balcony. staff all very helpful, we especially loved Mexico the pool barman who kept our cocktails and beers flowing by the pool every day! buffet food hit or miss, we used the other restaurants more as we were all inclusive. when buffet restaurant was busy it would take a long time for staff to come over and ask for drinks and often there were things missing from the table like napkins and cutlery.

Everything was great in Sunset Marina. Big particular ♥ Thank You ♥ to URIEL, LUIS (who works near the reception) and ISABELLE (Yoga teacher) for their warm welcome, great service and kindness! :-) Food is fresh and amazing everyday. Activities are awesome. Large bedroom, super clean. Best facilities and such a nice place! I recommend it 100 %. Exceptional Service and fast Check-IN.
