Staff very shy and withdrawn. Not warm and helpful

Superb

Only booked a ‘comfort room’ but it was very comfortable and perfect for a short stay. Very attentive staff, exceptionally clean. Booked dinner and although starter and dessert were excellent the duck was served ‘well done’ and therefore tough which spoilt an otherwise delicious meal.
-
The location and the conversion of the old chateau. Staff friendly and helpful Not really a Spa hotel, Dinner was rushed, three courses in just over an hour

The amazing views, the peaceful and beautiful location, the wonderful pool. The furnishings are unfussy and beautifully designed. Every member of staff is a joy. The breakfast is the only thing falls a little short — the buffet room feels gigantic and soulless (esp for such a gorgeous place), tasteless eggs and no choice of milk. Also, dogs should not be allowed in dining room/bfast room.

It was a nice place with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. The pool is in the most beautiful location. The breakfast is good but expensive. They don't provide any snacks. They do provide drinks but difficult to find anyone to serve them. If you want a glass of wine then fine but otherwise very limited, not brilliant for children on that front. The whole place feels more like a bnb rather than a hotel which would be fine if there was anything close by where you could go and grab a snack or drink but really you have to drive about 15 minutes to either Cordes or Gaillac. More facilities and staff would have been appreciated.

Swimming in the pool in amongst the vineyards was beautiful. As was having a drink overlooking the vines as the sun went down. Food was amazing- our 19 year old son said dinner was the nicest meal he’d ever had Worth flagging up the steep stairs to some rooms. It a very old building with no lifts. My mother in law struggled a bit
