The room was lovely - well appointed and quiet; the staff were very attentive and friendly. One of the sinks in the bathroom dripped (the one on the far left hand side). Also the hairdryer looked like it had been dropped and it only worked when one held the two sides of it together. We felt that the breakfast was quite "pricey" so we ate breakfast in local cafes.

The location was great, the room size was fine and comfortable The bathroom was small and not in the shower area the toilet being separate was a problem

The breakfast and Julien we fabulous- only suggestion would be to get a lamp or some connection for international travelers to be able to charge phones and ddevices with a USB port. You can get lamps for about 20 euros on Amazon that have USB and C ports

Beautiful room, comfort and cleanliness, outstanding value. Thomas at the front desk was so kind and helpful to us, he made excellent suggestions and tips about where to eat. The location is tucked away on a side street and it was so quiet and I had the best sleep. The quality of the bedding and towels felt luxurious. I liked everything

Great location in central Old town Bruge. Room was lovely and bed very comfy. Nothing

Rooms were very spacious ans confortable Never adviced that the residences were not on hotel grounds, no room service available for the residences. Had to do a short walk for breakfast every morning.

Very nice and comfortable room. Experience was pleasant. The staff member at check-in gave us the wrong address for parking, which required a phone call when we wouldn't find it.

    It was fabulous. Nothing

Stunning property. Would stay again. Staff extremely professional yet friendly. Perhaps a better gym facility. Rooms need full length mirror.

Great quiet location. Stayed at the residences, and they were located on the street behind the hotel. No room service available for the residences. Had to walk around the hotel, and enter back through their lobby in order to use amenities or the restaurant. No back door, to those rooms… Very uncomfortable if carrying bags or with bad weather.

Beautiful room in central yet quiet location. Kind and helpful staff. Difficult to cool room to comfortable temp

Did not like the steep steps to my room. It would have been nice to have someone offer to carry our suitcases up those steps.

Great location, great housekeeping staff, nice room albeit on the smaller side. Breakfast at 42 euros seemed excessive.

  • Engine customer May 2026

The facility, grounds, staff and room itself were amazing.

Lovely My room was too hot. The thermostat was not functioning.

Comfortable beds, quiet rooms and enough towels and toiletries! It was close to a small supermarket as well as to many restaurants! We had a little difficulty trying to increase the temperature in the room.

Close to downtown We booked Dukes Palace Residence after being told it was connected to the main Dukes Palace Hotel and that we could enjoy the same facilities. This is very misleading. Check-in was already a bad start. We arrived at 2:28 PM after an 8+ hour flight and a 1.5-hour train ride, completely exhausted. The receptionist kept insisting we leave our luggage and go explore the city instead of waiting. We stayed in the lobby for 30 minutes, clearly tired, and she made no effort to accommodate us or check if the room could be ready sooner. The biggest disappointment came on our last day. After a long day walking around, we wanted to order room service. Only then were we told: “You are in the Residence, we don’t offer room service. You can order food and come pick it up.” For a place marketed alongside a 5-star hotel, this is unacceptable. The Residence feels more like a random Airbnb using the hotel’s name, but without the service or comfort you would expect. If I had known this beforehand, I would have never booked it.
