Exceptional service, unique charm, and a setting immersed in history—Albergo Cantine Ascheri is a true gem. Loved the elegant design blending modern comfort with wine culture, the spacious rooms, and the unforgettable breakfast with local delights. A perfect Langhe escape! Honestly, there was nothing to dislike. Every detail—from the elegant rooms above the wine cellar to the impeccable service and delicious breakfast—was flawless. A truly unique experience that blends tradition and modern comfort.

Centrally located in Bra, and a short walk to restaurants, grocery stores, train station. Architecturally interesting if eccentric. Air conditioning was off the first day we arrived, on a particularly hot day. We were told to open the window, which was a massive, double-hung unit that swung out over the bed. We moved the bed away from the window, but the room is east-facing, and the morning sun was intense.

Location perfect, very close to centre with easy parking. Breakfast great, loads of local food. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room spacious with a fantastic window that opened up and had a lovely view. Their restaurant was wonderful -- their wine and the local food excellent with great atmosphere.

For breakfast, options are very limited. They only serve 2 types of cheese (in Italy!!) and no vegetables at all. Staff in the reception when we arrived was slurly and not at all friendly but the rest of the days other people were very kind and supportive.

The structure is interesting despite the fact from picture seem to be in the countryside. It is close to Bra but not in the center. The spa is small as space but very good to be in a Hotel. Our intention was to have a full experience but there was not possibility to book the restaurant (I think you need to reserve some places for the guests, or you can inform that is better to book in advance the restaurant. The man at reception when we arrived said we can go to the spa when we want in the afternoon but was only for chance that we find space at 5 p.m. because a couple was just leaving the spa. In the room there wasn't conditioner for hair (Incredible first time in a 4 stars hotel). But the worst thing was that there was no soundproofing, and I was able to hear word after word what was said in the other room. Also, the view from the window, was not so good (a wall...) Many things to improve!!!

The reception at chek in was not copartive.

Excellent place to stay! You can stay there and you have everything (I.e. restaurant, spa, etc) and you don’t really need to go outside somewhere else. Rooms are big enough and everything is really clean and very well placed. Additionally the price is below the average. Not at this time
