Peaceful! It’s like an Eden. The sound of Coucal birds hooting, tree frogs calling and breezes moving the trees while showering in the outdoor shower. The fantastic staff: Jon at the reception. Therapists: Lovely and Debbie and Mira. So talented! The services are worth every peso!!! That we had to leave!

Hope it was more lit up, facilities are a bit run down (maybe also due to the age of the property), bit of mold on the ceiling of our restroom

We just wrapped up a magical 5-night stay at Mandala Spa in their Digital Detox Villa, and it's hands down the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in serenity—this place is a true oasis of calm and luxury that far exceeded our expectations. The bungalow itself was stunning: impeccably clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious over 100m2. The bathroom was a standout—huge and innovative with glass window walls everywhere, blending seamlessly with the outdoors while maintaining total privacy. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the living areas overlooked our own lush inner private garden, flooding the space with natural light and tropical vibes. It was like waking up in a dream every morning. The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable. The resort's gardens are even more breathtaking—meticulously maintained, vibrant, and peaceful, perfect for unwinding with a book or just soaking in the tranquility. It's like a well-kept secret haven away from Boracay's busier spots, enhanced by its private road tucked away from the main streets. You don't hear any noise at all—no traffic, no crowds—which is NOT typical for most stays in the Philippines, where hustle and bustle often seep in. The staff made our stay truly special—they're warm-hearted, polite, and genuinely friendly. Their attentiveness felt authentic and heartfelt, adding that extra touch of magic. Breakfast was à la carte, with healthy, delicious options tailored per person—fresh fruits, smoothies, that were both nourishing and flavorful. The service there was charming, with smiles that brightened our mornings. We also indulged in massages, and the therapists were exceptional: skilled professionals with seamless, flowing movements that left us deeply relaxed and somehow "connected"—it's hard to describe. For the price, this place is an absolute steal—it should cost at least double! Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike—it's hard to find faults in such a perfect spot. If we had to nitpick, the only small point was that the bungalow's massive bed felt almost too big for just two, but that's hardly a complaint! Everything else was flawless.

Staff was very attentive and helpful. Bad quality of furniture, insect everywhere. Fridge not working, telephone only rings, toilet seat broken already, flush cover came out when pressed, balcony door handle come out when opened, swinging chair sound very disturbing when sitting and about to break, bath tub detached already from the floor, very poor breakfast options. I was in villa #9. As per the website, pictures and the price of the resort, I expected a luxury stay, even a hostel would have been in a better condition. I booked 6 nights and from day one I was counting the days to leave that place.
-
Just as shown on website. Large rooms set in beautiful gardens. Freindly, helpful staff. Reasonable rates. Should be booked out, but isn't - your lucky day! A small swimming pool would have closed the deal.

The place and the staff.

We spent couple of days in this resort and I was very beautiful. The resort itself big and quiet . A lot of trees and natura around you. The villas are superb. So spacious , with big en-suite bathroom , open air shower, a nice terrace and flowers everywhere . This place it’s very beautiful if you want unwind . It’s just a short 5 to 10 min walk to the main beach area , and it’s great if you want peace during your stay on boracay. They also have a Spa ( we did not try it ) but it looks very beautiful. The staff it’s so kind. They always say hello and welcoming you with a smile. They are lovely and they make sure that your stay it’s superb. Keep it up the good job ? The only downside is that the property needs a bit of maintenance. Some areas of the resort look abandoned, and other parts more neglected. It’s not really nice to see cause the resort has a big potential. Even the rooms , beautiful and clean but you can tell that need a bit of refurbishing done. Also the SPA is very expensive . The prices are too high even for what the resort looks like now. Just few things to fix and I am sure it will go back to where the resort was before . Overall we had a great stay at mandala .

We loved everything: our room was amazing with a huge bed in a big beautiful hut. Big bathroom with bathtub and outdoor shower, private terrasse opening on a lush space. Total privacy and very clean. The breakfast was very good, I especially loved the quinoa pancakes and the French omelette. The massage at the spa was great, felt very complete and great atmosphere. The service and people were very kind & helpful. Cleaning staff was efficient and thorough. We loved the location at 10 min walk from the beach, level of station 3 with the most beautiful and calmer part of White Beach (and also very good restaurant nearby) If we go again to Boracay we will come back to mandala Spa for sure. It was not a problem for us but older people or guest with small kids will find the walking from the beach to the hotel a bit tiring, especially that the villas are some distance away from the spa entrance. Count 15 min walk from your room to the beach. On the other hand, being close to main road had it advantages too.

Absolute oasis. The villa is large with lots of space to relax and unwind. Beautiful bathroom and outdoor shower. The staff is very exceptional and friendly. It honestly felt like you were a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of white beach but it was only a short walk away. Would stay again

+ Stunning friendly staff + Stunning massage offerings + Great breakfast a la carte options + Feels like butler service due high amount of staff vs guest numbers + Special requests will get tried to fulfill + Rather boutique hotel feeling - some wear and tear maintenance required, of which some urgently - rather rustic atmosphere in the nature with surrounding sounds and not well isolated villas - yoga room no longer available but private lesson only

Very good

Spa treatment best ever ? Breakfast choices poor

We arrived at 10am and were delighted that we were welcomed to check-in already. Right when we booked our stay, we were immediately messaged about our Digital Detox Room -- that there is no TV nor Internet. It worked out well. Data and mobile signal were strong in the room. No issue. We were also drawn a couple bath, too! We were given citronella spray and just needed to refill at the front office. One our last morning, we requested for our breakfast to be brought to the room at 10am, after we have welcomed sunset in Station 1. Our meal was still warm when we arrived. People who are not familiar with the island may find Mandala Spa and Resort far from the party happenings. We preferred the distance. The path to the beach entrance was a bit concerning due to the steep steps toward the beach. Please take note: Once you reach the gate, turn right to reach the beach.

The team at Mandala was exceptional! Great hospitality! The spa services are the best we’ve had in the Philippines. The property is a bit dated and needs some repairs however, it would not prevent us from coming back.

Breakfast was good, fresh mango juice was amazing. All staff extremely attentive and welcoming. We had a fabulous stay at the villa overlooking woods and the sea. Sometimes the hot water didn't work but imagine that was caused by the power cuts so not the hotels fault!
