B&B Il Viaggio Bologna

Roberto , the owner was very nice and attentive , he met us at the property and helped us with parking our car at his property . Place was beautiful , nicely decorated and very comfortable . We had a small kitchen with everything what you need including drinks and snacks.

We liked everything about the property-the host, the room, the breakfast, the location. The host was very responsive, kind, friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, so well thought out, comfortable and quiet. Sadly, we stayed only 1 night

Our host Roberto was simply wonderful in every way! We felt like we were staying with family! He was accessible 100% of the time and helped with every question we had….booked our taxis…had croissants (or any other breakfast food you desired) waiting for us every morning….the room was spacious, impeccably clean and well appointed! Highly recommend and thank you Roberto for making our stay so delightful!

The generosity was exceptional. Having a kitchen area with fresh food and a patio table was lovely.

Roberto is very helpful and speaks English very well. The accommodation is very stylish and clean. What I would especially highlight is the bed — in my experience, beds in most places are quite poor, but here the mattress was exceptionally comfortable. The towels were also of excellent quality. Breakfast consists of pastries, and your room is also well stocked with muesli, coffee, tea, biscuits, and fruit. The photos shown of the accommodation are completely accurate and reflect reality. If we return to Bologna, we will definitely choose this place again. It may have escaped my attention during booking, but the rooms are located on the 3rd floor of an old building without an elevator. This is something to keep in mind if you have difficulty with stairs or are arriving with heavy luggage. Additionally, the street-facing rooms can be quite noisy.

Very nice clean room, run beautifully by Roberto and his staff. They were always eager to please and willing to go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and happy. So it was not totally clear to me in advance that it’s like a tiny apartment with little hotel rooms feeding off of it. Now that is within bounds of how a B&B would function. It’s not like it was misleading. But in my experience a B&B tends to be a larger home with bedrooms scattered throughout, and a host on site to welcome you and cook your breakfast etc. I mean nothing was technically wrong, but maybe a diagram of the layout so people can make an informed choice.

Maintenance work on the building and nearby busy road makes some noise

Location! Owner is friendly with great restaurant recommendations. Stocking the fridge kitchen area with fruits, snacks coffee tea milk are very thoughtful! Morning, delivery of fresh croissants are nice! Would be nice to offer a few simple, hard boiled eggs for those health conscious travelers.

All was great.

Roberto was superb! The communication from when I made the booking was great! He accommodated our needs like helping us book a taxi to the airport, provided breakfast the day before because we had an early flight and help with carrying our luggage up the stairs. The space was beautiful, clean, cosy, aesthetic and tasteful. The walk to the centre was not far and there are stores around. 10/10

The room is super cosy, everything looked very new and tastefully decorated. The B&B is situated very close to the city centre (10 min on foot) and close to bus stations. The host Roberto is a lovely and helpful local who was always there to answer questions. The breakfast can be chosen every day. Coffee, tea, milk, and other kitchen supplies are stocked up every day. We truly felt at home here. Nothing, everything was perfect.

The room is spacious and spotless, The bed big and comfortable (on the hard side, good for your back)comfy pillows, Good lighting in room and bathroom, the amenities for breakfast were really good and the fresh croissant was very tasty, the coffee from the coffee machine in the room was really tasty, the room gets cleaned every day which is super convenient. The location is good, with bus station next to it and 15 min. walk from the center and lots of restaurants and cafes near by. Roberto was extremely friendly and helpful and super nice! We really recommend the place. the place is on the 3rd floor with steep stairs, so if you need accessibility, keep this in mind. Other than that, everything was perfect!
