Hotel Metropolitan

From the time we booked the hotel areas was very responsive and helpful. I asked for a few things due to my husband’s health issues and they went above and beyond! He loved the tub with jets so that he could soak his legs after walking during the day. We asked for a refrigerator for his medications. Although the room already had one, they installed an additional one that was not hooked up to the key card and would stay in all the time. WOW! What service! They really went the extra mile for us as guests. The room and facilities were all clean and lovely. The room was spacious with a couch and desk, and stocked refrigerator (food and drinks for purchase). The breakfast room was a nice option. I was hesitant to pay €15/day pp but there was such an array of foods to choose from that we chose to eat there each morning. The young ladies working breakfast each were so delightful it was a pleasure seeing them each morning. They provided the best dining service we’ve experienced in all of Italy. After one day they remembered your taste and made sure you had everything you wanted. The location is perfect. It’s on a side street so there is no noise at all. It’s not far from the train station (maybe 5-7 min ride, €9-10). Because we planned excursions to neighboring towns this was a great location. And yet it is only about a ten minute walk to the main Piazza. Their dinner recommendations were superb!! Nothing.

A+ air conditioning

Close proximity to the centre. Super cool air conditioning and lovely roof top bar. No hot food in the breakfast buffet.

The lobby and breakfast areas were beautiful, the room was comfortable, and the rooftop bar had wonderful service and views. The lobby staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, as well! The water wasn't always hot in the shower, but I understand that can be that way sometimes, so not a huge deal for me.

Nothing

We were steps from the main street Via dell'Indipendenza which contained lovely shops and restaurants and had the station at one end and the main Piazza (and restaurant/food shop neighborhood) at the other. All very walkable and beneficial for our 2 day stay. The very spacious room had a wonderful private balcony, overlooking picturesque rooftops. Very helpful staff and exceptional breakfast buffet! Maybe instructions on how to work the shower/jacuzzi tub? But really nothing needed for improvement.

The staff was exceptional friendly

In apartment 5 min from hotel; staff person in charge of guiding us there was rude, did not wait, so 2 in party got lost on the way. Then confronted with manager this person lied to cover his actions.

L.ocation was central to everything. Rooftop bar was great. good breakfast Room was smaller than expected. Shower in the bathroom was extremely small.
