Having enjoyed the food and drinks here since it opened, I was eager to actually stay here for the first time. It was just as good as it looked. Very well-kept property, with lots of thought put into the amenities. Rooms were spotless and very comfy. Staff was great. Quiet as well…perfect! Thanks, Modern!

Very cute. Rooms were comfortable. Close to everything downtown. Loved the amenity bag that we got upon check in and breakfast was great! Liked it all

The staff was friendly enough, but not especially warm or welcoming. The free breakfast was a nice added touch, but the options were very limited. Most items were pre-made and microwaved or served cold, so there wasn't much variety or freshness. Regular coffee was included with breakfast, but specialty lattes and espresso drinks were an additional charge.

Nice, clean, newly updated hotel. The absolute highlight was the huge bathroom with a walk-in shower the size of bedroom.

The place is very neat and well located, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Huge bathroom and shower, all squeaky clean. Breakfast is done exactly the way one needs it in the morning - you pick up what you want from a brief menu card and start eating minutes later, saving tons of precious time navigating the usual huge Swedish buffets. Well planned and done! A bit of street and highway noise comes at night; still, the overall room comfort and space is really nice.

It’s rare in America these days to be treated well. They serve coffee and tea with real mugs, fresh squeezed orange juice, frittata- they aren’t trying to squeeze every dime out of you. I felt real hospitality. How refreshing. Staff was awesome.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Front desk staff was very nice, room was clean, shower was phenomenal. Air conditioning cooled, but not to the desired temps we wanted. The egg cups at breakfast were super delicious but quite small.
