Hotel is easy to get to when in Birmingham near the train station (New Street). Bed was clean and comfortable. My air-conditioning unit was dripping on the carpet when in use, had to walk under it to get into the bathroom so was dripped on a few times. In the end i turned it off. Carpet and bedroom interior was very old fashioned (bathroom was modern), dark brown carpet so difficult to say if it was clean or not. Cobwebs coming from tiles above bed and dust would suggest maybe needs a good deep clean. Lift kept stopping working so not suitable for people with mobility problems. Staff said it was always breaking down so not reliable.

A wonderful three night stay. The front desk staff gave us a fast check-in, and my room was very clean. Great location an easy walk from the city centre. I would gladly book here again.

Sadly not much more than it was a place to rest my head overnight! Where to start! The first room key entered be into a room already occupied and I didn’t stay long enough to discuss this with the occupant!!! The receptionist was underwhelmed and simply asked if I wanted a complimentary call to compensate….as I was leaving at 6.00am it was less than appropriate! One lift out of order and the other ridiculously slow!! The secure door that only opened with a keycard was permanently open, and the revolving entrance door was a workout to move!!

Excellent shower and comfortable beds. Cleanliness of the room was excellent and the reception staff. Good location in the city centre of Birmingham. Good value for money for a budget hotel. Also had a hairdryer and iron in the room with plenty of storage hangers to hang your clothes . There was only one lift working and the other one made a noise when the doors were closing. The lift was therefore very crowded, especially in the morning and when checking in and checking out the hotel.

The location and the neatness is top notched.. good job No peace of mind, people always banging their doors hard close to any room I move to, and I don’t seem to understand what they are moving for all the time even at night, it’s not allowing people to rest. It’s kinda alarming and it’s somehow.. not gonna say what I feel tho

Fantastic location, great value for money at relatively short booking notice, good cancellation policy. Staff were very friendly and helpful and efficient. If wanting somewhere convenient to stay near the rail station and close to the mix, this is a very good option. Room was quite basic, but was just using it as a place to stay for the night so suited my needs. It may be that there are better rooms available at a higher price, but this was good value for money for what we needed.

The room was basic but clean & comfortable I was told to bring ID & the bank card I'd booked the room with. Went to check in to be told I had no booking...I'd already paid in advance. The reason I had no booking was because "I had already checked in".....no I had not! So someone else was in my room. Staff quickly ran upstairs....got the lady out of my room & wanted to move me into the room she had already been staying in. I wasn't going into a 'used' room. Got given another room. So obviously ID isn't always checked
