Asteria Family Resort Belek (Ex. Aquaworld Belek) - All inclusive

A food extravaganza! Loved the sound of signing birds in the wooded areas.

The location is very nice, not far from Belek. Also, the actual area of the hotel is just amazing. It feels like you're in a White Lotus TV show, with pines, palm trees, and a huge walking area around the hotels. A nice walking area around the beach. The beach itself is very nice, with lots of places to lie down and bars to pick up drinks. Loads of sporty places, sauna, a very very nice swimming pool for both adults and kids with some nice lights, nice snack bars. I really liked how laid back the staff was about food. You could go for food anytime, for breakfast, for lunch, and even late at night there was some food available, similar to drinks. Staff weren't too bothered if you took food or drinks up to your room, which was very nice. The Wi-Fi was great, which is a very rare thing in places like this, but it was actually spot on. Really liked dinner, lunch, and snack bar. Night entertainment was spot on for both adults and kids. Some construction work was going on at a site and sometimes made some noise during the day. During our stay, there was a problem with hot water in Belek, where we didn't have hot water for about eight hours, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. It was just in the city. Breakfast could do with some English breakfast options and some sweet pastries.

First 3 days my kids were allowed to use water slides. Than people changed and they my kids became to small for them. Breakfast was ok, but thats it. Nothing special. Sport eqipment that we rented was so old and damaged, that was almost unusable. rooms wasn't clean.

Rooms and toilets were stinky

Outdoor Property is spacious and beautiful. Breakfast and dinner buffet was great and so was the snacks. I’ve been to several 5 stars hotels and this one doesn’t look like a 5 one. My room was a disappointment. Toilet was greyish inside and some yellow stains that couldn’t be removed. The overall look, beddings, shower was not at the 5 stars levels with a tiny old school TV screen. For a little over 600$CAD per night my expectation was high. Laundry service was also bad. I asked for my brand new pink linen jumpsuit to be dry cleaned it came back shortened (I’m tall so you can imagine) and lost its colors. It was brighter and vibrant pink.

It was dream vacation for my kids, ages 2 and 4. So many activities for kids , they had a lot of fun! And the property is so big , my whole family from kids to grandparents could find something to do. Minor detail, but I was very excited about tennis courts but I should have brought our own tennis rackets. The ones hotel has are quite old. And there are no always available . So make sure to bring yours if you want to enjoy playing tennis (I think there were 8 courts if I’m not mistaken).

very clean hotel, staff were very polite and helpful. Food was more than adequate for the price Very little really, Hotel could do with some modernisation which i think they are in the process of doing. Hotel rooms are spread out over a very large land area meaning you will have some walking between amenities. Our air conditiong in room was not working very well. The few days we were there was not that warm but would be an issue when temps are higher.

The place is beautiful and deep inside the nature and landscapes are amazing, I would like to specifically Thank Muhammet from Urfa and Esra at the main Bar these 2 made our stay more enjoyable, Cleaning was poor, the food quality not good at all, drinks quality under expectations,

Beautiful place, many things to do, staff vas very nice. The food was good, especially breakfast. Good music in the pool area e disco. There are many sports to play, beach volley, darts, bocce, tennis and fitness center. If you need something and contact the reception, they were very late to bring them. So, for the last day, we needed the shuttle to checkout, as it didn't arrive, we had to go walking. SPA was very good, but the manager was a very rude person. He didn't like to explain, just take money!!

I like the pool, I like the location of the room. I like the entertainment at night. Only one restaurant for all the guess. Closing at 9.30pm and at 9pm not find the food announced for that night.. ran out of plater, utensils, tables. Nothing to eat after 9.30. A few employees speak English, very hard to communicate. Dr. closed at 4pm.

relatively good hotel in terms of nature, pools and beach.. There are activities for children in the Kids Club, there is a dance party for children, but every day the same party and the exact same songs. There aren't that many shows and activities for adults. We were there for a week and only once was there a show in the evening. The food is almost the same every day the meat is very tough we could hardly chew it. In general, the food wan not varied. The hotel is big and you have to walk a lot to get anywhere. The attitude of the people at the reception is bad, they have no patience at all. There are insects on the balcony and there are Occasional mosquitoes in the room. And the family rooms and suites have some windows without bars on the upper floors which is very worrying and not safe for children. there is no safe lock for the balcony and the room door. In our room , the lock was broken at all. The cleaning workers knock once and immediately open the door without permission! . Transportation is very expensive from the hotel to different areas of the city and the distance to the center of Antalya is almost an hour's drive. There is not much to do in the city of belek. I would give a score of 5 to a hotel.

Beachfront, only half an hour from the airport, large territory with different activities, spa Very outdated, rude staff, very dirty, no housekeeping for a week, food was rubbish especially towards the end as it was the end of season.

spa was excellent and especially the Thai massage, also the location with direct access to the sea I don’t recommend this hotel for any family first when we arrived they gave us a different room from our booking and when we asked why they said that the hotel is full they can’t give us what we booked and they said that the room they gave us is same category of our booking which wasn’t as it was old, with one toilet only and dirty with insects next day they gave us our room which was way different from the previous one one of the family members has medical thyroid problem we asked for a fan as the AC was not that good. they made us wait for a whole day although they have the fan the cleaner doesn’t clean appropriately even don’t vacuum the room, not using detergent for cleaning, doesn’t change or supply towels according to our needs, even last day didn’t clean the other room and didn’t add soap for toilet when we call for room service some of them are rude and close phone before we finish Food buffet was very basic everyday is the same without change and taste bad we ordered food in the room mostly bad and they don’t read or consider our notes the aqua park slides open for short times and doesn’t supply enough floaties so need to wait for long time for a person to slide once then hand it for a long line of people when we asked for non- alcoholic drink at the pool bar they declined rudely although it was mentioned in the menu internet was very bad beds and pillows were not comfortable

Exceptional

Superb

1. the area is well-kept, planted with old pine trees, lots of shade 2. kids club is open from 14:30. every day entertainment program for children (not only cartoons), except Sun 3. Beach with sun loungers, sand, smooth entry into the sea without depth changes 1. the beach sun loungers are all taken in early morning hours by people throwing their towels and going back to the hotel. This results in conflicts and fights, the administration does nothing 2. you can never get drinks served in the restaurant, you have to run and catch the staff yourself. only waiters pour wine, but you just can't find them 3. some rooms do not have separate shampoo, soap and conditioner. instead, one liquid for everything. the staff refused to give us separate products like in our friends' room, although we had a family room and it was more expensive 4. the rooms are poorly cleaned, the dirt on the floor and under the bed was not cleaned for three days until we called the reception 5. very expensive prices on the hotel grounds: hookah 30 euros, a ride in a toy car for a child 15 euros, one game on any slot machine for children 2 euros, sunscreen cream 25 euros (in a store in Belek it costs 4 euros) 6. at night, 1/4 of the streetlights do not work on the hotel grounds. Some areas are in pitch darkness 7. only the central, large, deep pool is warm. Paradoxically, all the pools for children and families are icy 8. no iron in the room, ironing only for money, 7 euros 9. The air conditioner in one of the rooms did not work, they were never able to fix it

The food. And that was about it. It was a beautiful resort 20 years ago.... the bathroom was sooo old and had waterstains that were building up for the last 10 years probably... just a horror really. swimming in the sea with our one year old and then a condom swims by? the floors near the pool, our feet were black, so all in all a very dirty and old resort
