The only thing the air conditioner kept leaking everywhere.

it turned out to be very convenient and it was located in a very fun area. The air conditioning worked great. It was exceptionally hard to find even after our cab driver called the front desk. we got dropped off at what looked like an alley and were told “walk that way.” Coming in at night and not being able to find anyone to help us find the hotel was a bit scary. Most of the people working the front desk are NOT fluent in English. There is no elevator to the second floor and no hand rails on the steps. Bring ear plugs if you are on the first floor. The people coming in and out were quite loud. FYI: There is only one washer for the hotel.

I stayed 3 weeks and they turned my visit into the best visit out of 40 years of travel through Europe, the US, and Asia. I highly recommend the Liangcang. The rooms are rudimentary but had everything I needed for my extended stay. Housekeeping turned my room into a home-away-from-home.

Great location. Very close to the tourist attractions, main shops and food. Between 2 subway stations. Staff were very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. You can get by with a translator app or google translate. Hot shower, aircon, ketlle in the room Free tea and coffee including lattes. Laundry facilities on site. Cold water machine on site too. Tiny bathroom

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Beijing’s beautiful hutongs, giving us an authentic experience while still being close to all the major attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They arranged our Great Wall tour, including hotel pickup, making everything completely stress-free. As a lovely farewell gift, they gave us two beautiful little teapots filled with tea leaves, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The room was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and we always felt very safe staying here. It was an excellent base for exploring Beijing. Nothing. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Good place close to everything. Value for money. Staff is helpful

It was close to Tiananmen square which, however, one cannot visit unless one has bought a ticket! The area around Qianmen is full of small streets and alleys, including opportunities for shopping. The location is in a hutong, that is, a small alley that taxis cannot enter. That creates a lot of problems getting there or getting awai if you have a heavy suitcase and cannot speak Chinese. The place is not a hotel but a hostel, with services accordingly.

The staff is very kind and helped us all the time, the location is great.

Very center of food street. Perfect location Bathroom is very small , a person can only fit in. No separate shower area. So toilet and bathroom are below rating. No lift , very important to note. Balance all good.

Not is dirty not safe Nothing

Location was perfect, next to the shopping street of Qianmen but in a quiet alley. Do note that Tiananmen square is quite a walk since you will need to go through multiple security checks and the path to it is not direct (as you would assume looking at google maps) so if your goal is to see the morning flag raise, you will need atleast 40 minues to get to the square on foot. Not much really.

Excellent location and better staff. Cender was always available to arrange tours and transportation as well ad providing local information. Excellent command if English. Excellent value fir the money.

Amazing service. Staff can orginize everything for your stay and leasure. Super location right in the center of old town with walkable disctance to all main attractions. Metro station also not far away

they should add their location in Amap because finding place based on road is kinda hard

It was in a narrow street that the car couldn’t get through.

The staff (Cender,Rinauwa, and others)there helped me a lot when I was in trouble. They were really nice. I also like that I could do laundry for free.
