Location is the key!! Close to many attractions and a lot of things to choose from for meals.

The hotel was kind enough to let us check in early in the morning and give us a room upgrade after our overnight train ride to beijing. The hotel has plenty of umbrellas that guests can borrow on rainy days. At the entrance, they have some local snacks and tea which is the best way to welcome guests. The hotel is easily accessible, within 20 min walking distance to 3 different subway stations (different lines). The TV automatically turns on when you walk into the room and plays calming music. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers which makes laundry quite convenient. We lost internet during our first night which made attending work calls difficult

The place is quite well located, the facilites are clean, the staff are friendly, the rooms are modern and clean. Luckily there was no smell of cigarettes in the room. Nothing

This property has top tier customer service. They speak in English and accommodated any possible request that we had. Our stay was perfect. The metro was a few blocks away but the area itself is already lively. NA

We got a reservation at this hotel after our initial reservation at another hotel of this company was cancelled by the owner because of renovation works. I never visited Beijing before and was not familiar with the practice of the goverment and people (reservations of attractions prior to visiting, carrying passport all the time, thorough security checks at metro and attractions etc) but got used to it. The hotel its self is relatively modern. The room size was OK. The location was also OK, lots of good eating places (very cheap also) and a metro station is within 5 minutes of walking; with Line 2 you can travel to the city center and all main attractions which was really nice. Breakfast included in price was also fine, eating options for Westeners were not few and were fine. I would rate the staff with a 11/10 because they helped with nearly everything: ordering taxi over DiDi, booking taxi to the airport at midnight, laundry for free. We got free water bottles every day, which I found really nice. The staff was exceptional! As said we booked initially at another hotel of the company and I paid for a Superior Queen Room which looked really spacious on the photos and got a Deluxe Room at the end (which was smaller and less convenient). The room had a really bad smell as we stepped in, like someone was smoking (although "no smoking" signs were all over the place and a smoking detector was at place). My 6-year old daughter found cigarette butts under the bed! On the following morning the smell was gone (as we do not smoke) but the bad impression remained. These things did not ruin our stay, that is why I rate the hotel with an 8. Without these, they could a 10/10 because the staff was really really polite.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are HUGE and clean with voice control for lighting/entertainment, with many little traditional chinese touches (detailed fabric on the chairs, customised towel, traditional windown frame etc.), i also liked the fact that the floor is not carpet but not cold on your feet. They provide complimentary slippers (even a cute children's pair for my daughter), Toothbrush & toothpaste (again, attention to detail with providing a children's set for my daughter). Free tea and coffee and chinese snacks that my daughter loved. The location is fabulous (30mins walk to Forbidden City - we chose not to get the subway or taxi due to the amount of crowd). With multiple eateries on the door step - which made things so much less stressful for us travelling with a child and a 5 months old baby.. we had a superb hotpot next door and traditional breakfast 3 doors down at a street corner. We also took a stroll in the morning the soak in the local culture and found many more.good traditional eateries and coffee shops. Very easy to get a taxi (using the chinese DiDi app) which is not always the case in Beijing. Checkout at midday/noon is such a nice touch. Having been to Beijing many times, this is the best I have stayed. For the price, this is amazing and I will certainly stay again and recommend it to friends and family. Nothing apart from maybe add some additional hooks in the room to hang used bath towels.

Very well located, extremely friendly staff. The hotel looks pretty good and the hotel is well maintained Shower could be a little cleaner, the shower power was poor and water was switching from hot and cold randomly. But besides these details everything was very good
