I have been coming to this hotel since 1996. It is very nice because it is close to all the shops and markets. It would be nice if I could change the arrival date several times.

It was close to the place I was meeting my tour. The restaurant is okay and priced well. The breakfast is good. They stored my bag for free overnight. The staff are helpful (not very friendly but helpful). Easy to catch a DiDi from. It’s old and smells of rotting wood. The tub had seen better days and the ac ran the entire time no matter what I did. Also I had to physically pull lightbulbs because whatever switch they were connected to didn’t work. I would not stay here again.

The location is very central. The Subway is only 300m away. There are good restaurants and many shopping centers close by. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was of good international standard. The staff was very friendly We could not smoke on the balcony.

I booked the room with no prepayment required, but the hotel charged my credit card in advance anyway. Then, when I arrived at the hotel, they charged me again, so I was charged twice. I immediately raised this issue at the hotel, and they told me that the advance charge had been refunded. However, the refund has still not been credited to my account. Because of this experience, I will not stay at this hotel again when I visit Beijing in the future.

We only stayed for three days and the location was perfect. It was near Line 1, which is connected to the airport train. There are many small places to eat nearby The room was old and smelled like cigarettes, even though it was a non-smoking room. We were charged about 100 euros when we checked in. This fee covered the use of the restaurant and other services. That was surprising. We didn't use any services, and we received a refund three days later.

My umbrella got stolen, I accidentally left it on the table with newspapers while waiting for the lift on the 4/F, when I asked the hotel later whether anyone found it, no one did. Hotel staff should scan the floor even outside rooms, pick up unattended items to prevent other guests or visitors taking the items
