B&B Amelì

Location was only 5-6 min walk from the bus/ train station. WiFi was strong. Communication was quick via WhatsApp. The rooms were not super clean. Towels were not soft and had a damp smell. There were small hairs on the toilet and signs of mold on the tile.

Alessandro was so lovely! He gave very specific directions on how to get to and into his apartment. He was readily available to answer my questions. The place is adorable and in a great area. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and very close to the train station. The bed was comfortable and it was so nice to have a terrace to sit on. Grazie mille! NA

Loose tile in the bedroom floor, shower holder broken and shower had to be held by hand. Pillows cases smelled foisty, as though they had been left in washer a long time before drying

Breakfast was very good served by warm and friendly woman. Room was comfortable and they accommodated our very late arrival thanks to trenitalia.

Spacious and clean room. Very short walk from the train station. Easy access to Centro Storico and commercial venues. Alessandro is very responsive and accommodating.

Difficult to arrange time for check in.

Great location take the capruzzi exit towards the back end of Bari centrale train station and it about 10 min walk the accommodation was nice and the owners allowed me to check my case in the morning so I didn't have to carry ,they also provided a nice early morning breakfast The bed and pillows could be a little more comfortable but otherwise all good

Close to Bari Centrale in a decent residential building with elevator. Clean room with a balcony. Very nice gentleman served breakfast. A few things need to be fixed.

My host, Alessandro, was excellent at communicating with me. He sent a video showing exactly how to get into the BnB. I wish others would do this. My room was spacious, attractive, and spotlessly clean with a double bed and big bathroom. There is a large , well-appointed communal area with a kitchen. Alessandro was there in the morning to provide a delicious and plentiful breakfast. He even insisted that I take some with me for my break. The BnB is a 5 minute walk from the train station, where trains travel to many places, including the airport (just 15/20minutes) which is what I needed. The area is typical of those found near stations in Italy. There are supermarkets and places to eat nearby. Thank you, Alessandro. Alla prossima

B&B Amelì is a very nice place to stay for visit in Bari and the region. The location is good - very close to the station and the central streets. The room was clean, the owners and the staff very polite, we also liked the breakfast. Value for the price is very good.

Lidia is a very kind and helpful host, well speaking English. The accomodation is clean, nice, safe, 7th floor of the building with a small balcony and view, comfortable with excellent breakfast ( fresh chroissant, Coffee....). It is in good location behind the main railway station of Bari ( 10-13 minutes on walk) - it was important for us. Absolutely recommend.?

very close to Center and train station. beds were very uncomfortable and sagged a lot. there were humidity issues with the room and it smelled, because of this the window above the entrance door was open and this meant it was noisy and no privacy.

Convenient location near train station and trulli bus stop. Friendly host who aimed to be helpful. Free bottled water provided in the fridge and there's a coffee machine. Very clean throughout the room and the common area, with exception of the balcony. Decor was good. Use of a plastic/synthetic lined mattress protector is unacceptable. It is too hot and uncomfortable. Plastic mattress covers should only be used for toilet-training children. Also, the mattress cover and the fitted sheet did not stay on. The mattress sagged and needs to be replaced. The balcony had some rubbish piled at one end. The shower cubicle is very narrow, even for a thin person, as noted by others. Instructions on how to use the air-conditioning are needed. We eventually worked out that you must use the "auto" setting to obtain cool air, as the "cooling" setting only runs the fan. Even then, the aircon does not produce very cold air, even on the lowest temperature setting.

Excellent position for my needs (very close to the station), very easy check in thanks to the videos sent by the host, comfortable bed, perfectly equiped bathroom, lovely decorated dining room, kind and helpful service, ready to meet special needs (I asked for more fruits for breakfast and they immediately satisfied my need and even left fruits for me in the fridge for the morning when I was checking out very early <3), quiet street. The sink was a bit blocked but the hosts fixed it very quickly, thank you Beware of the little stair to get to the bathroom! It was extremely cold in the dining room but the host fixed this very quickly. On the balcony there were three air conditioning systems that were noisy. Once they stopped the central system both the temperature in the dining room was more pleasant and the noise more bearable. Quite badly insulated, but I was very lucky to have extremely nice, quiet and respectful neighbors so it didn't bother me.
